Very strong thread for it's thickness much better than universal threads for heavy duty stitching.
This vendor has a very good price on this high strength thread which I've used previously, but needed a new supply of. The thread is extremely strong for its thickness and I used it again this time for repairing a heavy woven nylon camera bag and my leather wallet. For thick leather you need a special leather needle with a spade point but a normal large needle worked fine with my old sewing machine with some careful adjustment of stitch length and tension. I also used it on some thick nylon straps . Recommended for most heavier duty work with nylon fabric, backpacks or webbing but you should to use a larger size needle

When they say extra strong, they mean it.
I bought this thread a while back so that I could modify one of my older backpacks (a surplus ALICE pack that I've had for years). I wanted to add a sternum strap and maybe some MOLLE loops to it to make it more convenient for camping or hiking.Well, that project never got off the ground. The spool of thread sat next to the sewing machine until yesterday, when I needed to make a pair of simple cinch straps for a camping blanket. All I needed to do was to add Fastex quick release buckles to some 1" nylon webbing and make a loop. The buckles that I'm using cinch down on the webbing on the male end, but the female end requires the webbing to be looped through and stitched back on itself. One end of each strap received a simple box x stitch with this thread. The biggest headache was dialing in the tension setting on the sewing machine. I'm far from an experienced tailor so I ended up running some test stitches until they looked OK. It took a bit of trial and error, and I suspect that my machine is not set up 100% correctly, but I managed to get it done.My stitches don't look that great (like I said, I'm no tailor) but they're STRONG. I tried to break a strand of this thread by hand and can tell you that the tensile strength is significantly higher than conventional sewing thread.Next time I have to repair any of my outdoor gear, the upholstery thread will make another appearance.

Strong thread
Tough little thread. I used it to attach a strap to my tool bag. Easy to work with I expect it will last a long time. I appreciated the spool groove to tuck the thread when stored.

Heavy-Duty Hardcore, almost fishing line/Spider-Wire LOL
When you need to see something like a motorcycle seat or saddle bag etc this is the stuff. Tough to tear, holds up.

Love this thread
The size is perfect the quality is great just as described. This thread is very durable. The strength is great keeps everything together. I used this thread on some stuffed animals that were tore around the legs and arms worked perfect. I’ve used this thread on military pants before. Does work great but I believe my stitches were off or not tight enough going to have to work on that maybe work a lot better if I used a sewing machine for the military pants more than likely would have worked better but you live and learn. I will definitely buy more of the this thread
