It's not working as my expectations, wants to replace with book5 laptop

I chose this keyboard cover because it doesn't need to be charged, the kickstand allows you to adjust the viewing angle, it attaches magnetically, and I wanted the track pad and backlit keys. In all of those ways it absolutely delivers. The keyboard itself is very pleasant to type on. I also love the plastic cover for the S Pen because of the extra security it offers--I don't worry about accidentally knocking the pen loose from the magnet and losing it. Oh, and one other plus with the kickstand--I have discovered it's useful for when I want to hold the tablet in landscape orientation on one side while using my opposite hand to operate it. The tablet fits perfectly between the crook of my arm and my hand, and the open kickstand rests on my arm, making the tablet very secure.I cannot agree with the reviewer who said Apple's magic keyboard is better. My sister has one, and when she saw mine, she was a bit disappointed that she can't take her keyboard off without taking off the whole case. It also doesn't have an adjustable kickstand, it's one angle only.Speaking of the keyboard portion being removable, another reviewer mentioned bending it backwards behind the tablet disables the keys. I don't believe it's meant to be used this way, and I would advise that you remove it when you don't want to use it instead. I read a Reddit post were someone said theirs had stopped working and someone commented asking if they had done this, stating it can damage the ribbon connector inside. The OP responded that indeed, they did this regularly.As for edge protection, it's true that this case doesn't cover the edges. Personally, it doesn't seem like an issue for me with the way I use it. For me, the size and weight of the tablet, especially with the cover on, greatly reduce the likelihood of me dropping it because it simply demands that I hold it more securely. That said, if I had to use it it a way that I needed to be moving around a lot, this cover wouldn't be my choice for those conditions. Also, if you want to use it on your lap, you're going to want a lap desk for the added stability.Finally, I definitely initially felt that it's way too expensive. Now I'm a little more on the fence, though still leaning that way. It's the same price as Apple's magic keyboard, but it's bigger and more versatile. The aftermarket ones I've seen are not as thin and they have to be charged separately and connected through Bluetooth. I also had to consider it might take more than I realize to make a keyboard this thin that is also durable and so pleasant to use. So overall, I guess I bought it for what it offered that aftermarket keyboard covers didn't, but I do slightly resent how much more I had to pay for those. I will update this review if anything change.

The rear cover fits securely magnetically to the back of the device. Offers good protection for the S-Pen but crucial device edge bumper protection is sorely lacking.The front keyboard and touchpad are great. All shortcut keys are easily toggled with fn keypress combos. The AI key is a bit of a gimmick, as you can just as easily accomplish the same by touching the button on screen.Key backlighting is a nice touch. When the keyboard is flipped around to the back, it is disabled, so that you can hold the device without pressing keys. As with the rear cover, the keyboard lacks crucial edge protection. In fact, if the keyboard is stowed behind, 3 edges and the glass are completely naked and completely unprotected.The rear case lies flat across the back like a veneer and has relatively flexible edges, and the keyboard is the same across the front, protecting only the bottom edge where it securely attaches and connects.This does not provide any level of edge protection, and if the device falls from any angle, it will without a doubt lead to metal (or glass) to floor impact.It's a lovely accessory. It's a darn expensive accessory for what it is. I was short sighted and caught off guard. Once I had received it and put it on I was immediately struck by how exceptionally vulnerable the device remained.I had to spend a further $100 on a Spigen case that provides proper protection, and it compatible with this keyboard.The combination of the keyboard from this product and a Spigen Thin Fit Pro bumper case offers the protection that is required.I shall do a little more browsing next time before I shell out $400+ for a tablet case.
