So far I like the device itself. This review is based off of using it 2 times so it's more of a first impressions review. I intend to follow the directions and hope to see laying results after 8 weeks as advertised.I like the overall look and feel of the device. It's comfortable to use and equipped with well thought out features that make usability more enjoyable. I do wish the indicator light that the laser is ready was on both sides since sometimes I need to flip the device around but I've just learned to count and time that out (also that's not an issue if you chose to use the auto flash feature). It takes a little bit of patience to do both full legs. I'm hoping investing time in this over the next few months will result in saved time over years and nice smooth legs.I started on a 1 , as the instructions stated and was able to quite quickly increase to an 8. I'm comfortable at that setting but could probably go to a 10 with very mild discomfort. I get a slight burning sensation when I get to the inside of my thighs which I could just turn down the intensity to solve that. I like how long the cord is since it's just long enough to go from the outlet above my sink to the floor.The flashing light seems legitimate. Don't forget to wear the included sunglasses. The device has a count down from 10,000 flashes.My goal is to do both legs 2 times a week for a couple of months. I forgot to do my armpits tonight but I'll add them next time. I'm going vacation in the summer and there will be lots of swimming so wish me luck on being leg and armpit hair free!! If I stick with it, I'll update. Fingers crossed. Oh! Also I know personal care time is hard to fit in, so just a tip, whiten your teeth while you're lasering your legs 😉

I occasionally use IPL hair remover for unwanted hairs. This is the 3rd machine I purchased- 1st: Braun one ($250) 7 years ago which died after less than 1000 shots. Then 2nd: Another Braun one ($250) a year ago. I liked it as it was a lot more powerful than the 1st one.Now I came across this one that seemed have many features at less than 1/3 of Braun. Though I didn’t have much expectation, it surprised me with the good materials used for both the unit and the container. It does not come with any fancy container (like Braun), it does really matter. Comparing the unit side by side with Braun, thy both feel premium. I wouldn’t be able to tell which one cost 4 times more. Moreover, the features like shot counter and cooling element are super nice. The only downside is the max power compared to Braun. At level 9 (max), I feel the same pain as Braun’s medium strength. So I guess for those who have really thick hairs to remove, I recommend Braun. But for most people, this one is more than enough.The counter is very promising given the number of digits it has. But if it ever stops working (like my old Brain), then I will update this post. I have a feeling this one will last a lot longer, from again its premium feel.
