Post brackets are too big for 2-3/8 posts and do not hold tight
These are too big for a 2-3/8 post and run out of thread before they will tighten up. Also the bolt strips out easily and will not hold tight. You have to buy additional nuts and washers and install them on the bolts in order to get them tight enough. The Simpson post clamps are more expensive but way better.

cheaply made
Very thin gage metal and srews sometimes strip. I sent them back and bought "Strong Tie" which were great.
