Tall enough for filters
I got these to hold some rather tall hot tub filters, when I need to periodically soak and clean them. These buckets are just a bit taller than regular 5 gal buckets. When I put the lids on I usually only snap them on partway because they hold so aggressively and are tough to get off when fully engaged all the way around.

I purchased the pails to store water in case of an electrical outage, That way I can flush toilets or wash dishes or my hands in the sink.They are very clean and good for the purpose I bought them.

Lids Do Not Fit and No Good Return Option
We ordered these for a event and they arrived late, after our event. We also found that the lids fit very loosely and do not create an air tight seal. We tried to return them and the return shipping charge was going to be over $70. Beware that if you are not happy with the lids, you will not be able to return the product for a full refund.
