Value for money
Great piece of kit. Does the job. Fast delivery. Quiet motor. Seems well put together. Looks good.

Good kit, good value, but not for the beginner mechanic.
On the face of it, this is a good bit of kit for the money, but you will pay the price in style. However hard you try, it will look untidy due to the mess of cables. I initially installed the pedal sensor on the gear side of my bike. Apparently this creates too big a gap between the magnetic disc and the sensor, which prevents any powered operation. Once I moved it to the non-gear side, it all leapt into action. I am actually pleased with how it now works. This kit comes with replacement brake levers with microswitches built in. As my bike was equipped with Shimano combined brake and gear selector levers, I had to drill out the brake lever pivot pins to ditch the original levers and retain my gear selectors. The alternative was to ditch the lot and buy new gear selectors. The advertising photos cleverly show a single speed set-up on the handlebars, while the rear wheel is clearly a multi-gear option.I would say that this kit is not for the beginner mechanic. I have more than fifty years of engineering training and experience, and it nearly caught me out more than once.I should also mention the complete lack of customer support from Viribus. When I mentioned on the Facebook group that I was having problems, their official suggestion was to return the kit to amazon.
