This kit comes complete with screwdriver, extra double stick tape, replacement headband, and easy to follow with both written and pictorial instructions.It took all of 20 minuets from removal of the old band to install of the new one with professional looking results.Even though there is less foam rubber than on the original, it must be a different density foam, because it feels and looks the same as the original and when placed on the head it feels the same.Quality seems as good as the original and I will be satisfied if it last as long as the original. About 2 years.To me the investment and time for this replacement was well worth the investment.The only minor disappointment was that the only color available was black. Needed Blue, but as it turned out it looks great with the combination color.One word of warning, make sure you have the correct model of your headphones when placing the order and also, when folding the replacement headband in place, make sure that the top and bottom parts are evenly velcroed, otherwise you will not be able to evenly get material to fit under the clamps.I highly recommend this Headband replacement kit for the Sony WH-XB910N

It’s not well designed. There’s a piece of plastic with Velcro attached that secures the wrap around on the bottom of the headband arch. But both sides of the wrap around are the same length, so it doesn’t fit (because the bottom of the arch is shorter than the top of the arch). The result is that there isn’t quite enough fabric to fit along the top and too much plastic on the bottom, so it doesn’t fit into the plastic buckles (see pics). It’s not really uncomfortable but it looks bad. I’ll probably keep it on just long enough for a different brand replacement to arrive and then I’ll replace it.Update: I’ve been using it for a couple of months, I think, and it’s basically falling apart. Really worthless piece of manufactured junk. Save your money and get something else.

The only thing I found not quite right I guess was the new foam it wasn't thick enough. The headphones are almost too big for my head now but since I only use them for watching TV they'll be fine. I don't know what the 3M tape pieces are for though I never use them and it says nothing in the instructions was that to hold down the small little tab from the leather? I managed to do it even though I hate tedious small screws. The hardest part was getting the screws off I didn't realize how much junk got stuck in those little screw holes. I always clean them religiously with the baby wipes because I knew the pleather that came with the item wouldn't hold up to any other cleanser. They were always kept clean I think that's why they lasted as long as they did. It was the oil from your skin that deteriorated the old original leather pleather whatever it is it was thinner than paper it was like tissue paper thickness Sony sure did save a buck.$15 headphones are a lot better than $220 headphones.
