Power cord detaches.
Nice supply. I like the detachable A/C cord, much better than a wall wart. Good quality coax per. connector.

Great bur one flaw
I finally had the time to work on this project this power supply delivers the volt and amps but the plugin connector does indeed get hot like others have stated For my use i was going to cut the end off and solder the wires anyway so if you are a hobbiest this will work for you if you solder the wires

Capability Misrepresentation
Features are false. Claims to provide 5 volts at 5 amps. It is unable to provide 5 volts at 2 amps, and drops to the mid 4 volt range long before attaining 5 amps. Bought 2 units, both were as bad as described herein. Employed on a Raspberry Pi 3B which expects a 5 volt source capable of 2 amps. The operating system complains of "undervoltage" during boot-up and in normal use. Confirmed with a laboratory Fluke voltmeter. Tried another Raspberry Pi 3B, same issue. Switched to using a better power module and the Raspberry Pi's worked fine. This product needs to be considered to be trash. The adapter to screw connections is nice, the appearance is nice, but if you need something that works, stop considering this item.
