The gas kit is listed as a separate product on amazon , so 1st add to cart the tandoor oven and then search for “gas kit for home tandoor” on amazon, add that to cart as well and place your order

For the gas option, could I use propane or would it require a gas line? (This is for my home, not business use). I want to use in my backyard.

Accepted Answer

All the gas kits are preset to work with propane gas. So you can use the gas kit with a propane tank. An extra gas flow jet for gas line or city gas is provided with each gas kit which can be changed should you want to use the gas kit with a gas line.

If both these Tandoors are the same size, why do you show a picture that implies that the SS2 is much larger than the other one?

The difference between the SS1 models & SS2 Models is the size 
The difference between deluxe & ultima variants of both SS1 & SS2 models is the free accessories included

The SS1 is the medium size home tandoor and can cater to approx 10-12 people , it has the following dimension, dimension sketch in the pics on amazon 
height - 22” 
diameter - 16” 
mouth opening - 10” 
weighs approx - 88lbs

The SS2 is large size home tandoor and can cater to approx 20-25 people, dimension sketch in the pics on amazon.
It has the following dimension 
height - 26” 
diameter - 18” 
mouth opening - 11” 
weighs approx - 132 lbs

Both SS1 & SS2 have 2 variants each, Deluxe & Ultima, difference being the additional accessories included with the Ultima variant, tandoor will be same size for both variants of SS1 i.e SS1 Deluxe & SS1 Ultima. The same goes for SS2 variants as well which has the variants SS2 Ultima & SS2 Deluxe

It’s is recommended to use it outdoors as there will a lot of smoke from the charcoal as well as from the cooking 
It’s like an Indian bbq .. and bbq is used outdoors
