Marvel's Avengers - Infinity War - the Art of the Movie Product Bundle – January 1, 2018

For the first time I received a pre order item the day of release. It was shipped the day before release. I had ordered other items on pre sale and sometimes had to wait a week after release to receive it. The book itself is amazing. Artwork is fire! Marvel always puts out quality art books!

This is a great art book to compliment the movie the only thing I dont really understand is why a section for just Groot? I like him dont get me wrong but why not also throw in the rest of the GOTG crew? Other than that great art book!

If you live the MCU and Avengers Infinity War then this is a great addition to your collection. High quality pages and wonderful art. I keep mine on my coffee table as a conversation starter.

After reading this book, you begin to have a new kind of respect for the incredible effort involved in making these characters and these universes.

"Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War - The Art of the Movie" is yet another great art book in a long line of distinguished art books dedicated to the MCU movies. If you've ever flipped through one of them then you know what to expect with this one: tons of gorgeous concept artwork and commentary focusing on the characters, weapons, vehicles and landscapes featured in the movie from some of the best artists and designers working in the industry today.With so many main characters in the movie, it's no suprise the vast majority of the 300+ pages of artwork in the book are focused purely on the characters themselves. This is great to me because I love seeing different interpretations of a character and watching the journey that character takes from early concept drawings all the way to the final approved CGI renderings.However, there is one major flaw with the book in my opinion: The Guardians of the Galaxy are almost completely absent from the book. In fact, Groot is the only member to receive any real attention (four whole pages). Outside of Groot, the only other GotG-related pages are focused on the Guardians' space ship and escape pod, oddly enough.Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Mantis, Nebula.. none of them receive anything more than a passing mention in a caption or page of text, or an appearance in a key art frame showing them in battle with Thanos. No multiple renditions of the character, or commentary from the various artists who created the designs. No evolution in the design of the character like we see with most of the Avengers like Thor and Iron Man. The Guardians of the Galaxy are simply nowhere to be seen, which sucks because I love them almost as much as I love the Avengers.And it's not just the GotG that got shortchanged either: Other characters like Doctor Strange, the Scarlet Witch, Vision, and Black Panther received very little-to-no dedicated pages at all. So.. if you were hoping to see lots of cool and different artistic takes on these particular characters you're going to be a little disappointed.I'm guessing they weren't included because there were already too many characters and not enough space in the book, or maybe they're saving those guys for a future art book. Either way, whereas with previous MCU art books I would have easily given this five stars, the omission of the majority of the Guardians of the Galaxy and the other characters forces me to take one star off. It's still a great art book, make no mistake, I just feel it would have been even more epic had they found some way to include those characters.Cheers.

I like everything! The art is amazing, the quality is amazing, so many concepts and variations. You can learn so much as an artist from that. it's pure awesomeness!!!The best artbook Iv'e seen!

Beautiful, wonderful art that shows a lot of scenes from "Infinity war" movie and also some alternative looks & designs of the main characters. Must have for all Avengers fans!
