Salomon Men's OUTPULSE Mid Gore-Tex Hiking Boots for Men

I tried on many hiking shoes thanks to the use of Amazon Try Before You Buy program. These shoes hands down has the best quality and build of the other common shoe brands. The fit was as expected. These were very comfortable on my 33-mile backpacking trip. No sores and aches from wearing these shoes. Also very light and has great traction. Would recommend

Okay, so ive owned two pairs of Ultra Pioneer MID $199 now $97, two pairs of Ultra Raptor II GTX $198, and now these. In this order, they go from "hiking hiking" to more of a light, shoe hightop. I am 6'5 235lbs. bad ankle with rods. I stand 12hrs at a time. Great high top, light weight, water proof. Love them. Wish they would send out a 2nd pair of laces though.

I’m a big fan of Salomon footwear. These are great, but not as good as my GTX hiking boots and shoes. The sole is comfortable, but I found the toe box a little narrow and shallow, and the hooks for the laces aren’t as good as they could be, and the lace can fall out easily while you’re trying to tie them up. If you’re looking for some absolutely fantastic hiking boots, spend a little extra and get Salomon GTX

My favorite shoes, part of my EDC. Bought a 2nd pair after my first ones fell apart from 2 years of daily use. Used them for everything from yard work, walking my property, and work (work in a hospital). They are pretty grippy even in snow/ice/mud. The Gore-Tex lining does well to keep out water when walking through snow or water. Don't breathe as well as running shoes without Gore-Tex so probably look elsewhere if you have sweaty feet or for distance running.

I have wear Salomon shoes for almost two decades already. It's the only brand of sport shoes I use and never disappoint me. These are not the exception. The shoes are very comfortable and I can walk all day without getting tired weather a city walk or in a mountain hiking. And these in particular looks stylish, more like sneakers than hiking shoes so I can also wear them with jeans or casual clothes. I may buy a second pair to keep them as replacement for when my first pair wear out.

Durable and waterproof. They performed well in the mountains and woods. However, these are a shoe, boot hybrid. I noticed the rubber "cushion" part of the shoe already has some cuts from branches on the forest floor. Even though they're still good, because of their design, there might be some durability issues with heavy use.

The sides of the plastic shoes on the out sides ripped out and did so with in the first month. The ripped apart about an inch above the soles and are horizontal tears, not from getting snagged or anything like that but in the wrinkle area of shoe! This did fit well but run on the narrow side like a woman's shoe! I do not recommend these at all

I bought my first pair from REI. The traction, comfort, support, fit, style…everything about this shoe I love. The ONLY problem was that after one year (maybe 300 trail miles), they literally fell apart. Everything previously listed was so impressive - that I bit the bullet and bought them again. I hope this pair does better but I’m not counting on it.

I wear a lot Salomon shoes, so tried the boots for the sale price. They are a tight fit, compared to the shoes, but so far, IK am happy with them. Just hope the soles and achiles padding hold up better than the shoes do.

Chaussures confortables et agréables à porter mais elles se sont déchiré au niveau de la pliure (dessus du pied) après moins d'une année d'usage ce qui n'est pas du tout satisfaisant. Amazon a été parfait et considérant que les chaussures avaient moins d'un an, m'a demandé le renvoi et a procédé au remboursement intégral. C'est la deuxième paire de Salomon que j'utilise qui rend l'âme après moins d'un an d'utilisation ce qui dénote tout de même une certaine baisse de qualité des produits de cette marque que j'utilise depuis plus de 15 ans.

20年前にサロモンの登山靴を購入し、愛用していたが5年ほど前に履きつぶした。堅牢だったが重かった。まだ若かったので重さより、安全性、耐久性、履き心地を重視していた。最近コロナやらなんやからで山歩きは中断していたが、再開するに当たり、やはりサロモンを探してこの商品に決めた。とにかく軽い。早速近辺の坂道（舗装路）ばかりを1時間半ほどで10kmほど歩いたが、どこも痛くならず、へたなウォーキングシューズより歩きやすかった。さすがサロモン。耐久性は買ったばかりで当然不明だが、とりあえず★5つ進呈です。なおサイズは他の人のレビューを参考に、いつもより+1cmとして良い感じ。人によっては+0.5cmでも良いかも。
