Great knives, don’t listen to tip breaker bozos.
Ok so if you’re saying how easy the tips break. Shut up, yea they do think about what you’re doing with em and you don’t want em razor sharp anyways.you want just a point, doesn’t need to be like a razor you’re throwing knives not filleting a fish or whatever. You’re taking knives and throwing them into wood. These are good knives for that. To strengthen them so they don’t break in half I like to take like lacrosse tape or athletic tape and wrap em pretty far up. This will help especially when you’re learning and don’t hit every time. Ok so let’s sun this up everyone, tips will break. Any knife you use it will probably happen. Metal will break when you miss a lot or even sometimes when you hit. You’re throwing them probably as hard as you can to feel super cool for some reason into wood. Things wear down and sometimes could even happen first try. It’s not rocket surgery to think about this stuff. So don’t buy em if you think they are gonna stay razor sharp forever or if you think they won’t break throwing them. You’re delusional if you think throwing things at stuff won’t break. Buy these if you want a good knife and you’re a decent thrower. I love em and I throw a lot everyday all day and guess what mine have not broke. Gotta practice some and make em stick and they’ll last so just get better

Great Knives, But... The Tips Break Easily
The knives are well balanced and easy to throw. Their shape makes it easy to learn no spin throwing. I'm throwing the knives into a large thick plank of soft pine. On the tenth throw, as I was wiggling the knife in the wood to remove it, a tip broke. I was shocked because the wood I'm using is about as tough as a block of cheese. The knife that lost the tip still sinks into the wood easily, so I can still train. When you pull the knives out of the wood, try to pull them straight out.

These are the best throwing knives I've ever used
I've been throwing knives since I was 16 and have had a few different products but hands down these are the best. To people complaining about broken tips get a file or diamons sharpener that crap happens if it his concrete a rock or you hit a knife on your throw they's not indestructible I will make a review video at some point my only complaint is the sheath needs to come standard I finally ordered the new one they're selling and I've had to stick so many pockets

Great Set for Learning to Throw Knives
If you have been thinking that it would be fun learning to throw knives and are shopping for your first set, I would offer that it is indeed fun, and that this is the set you should probably buy. I have been throwing for a few months now and the Sure Flight Sports are the second set I have purchased. The first set was a less expensive Chinese made one. The knives looked neat, came with a case etc. That first set was much smaller than the Sure Flights, weighed substantially less and proved to be of rather poor quality. The tips of two of those knives broke off within 48 hours. Not to be thwarted in my quest to huck knives with abandon if not accuracy, I purchased the Cold Steel Sure Flight Sport knives and it opened my eyes to the difference a well balanced and manufactured throwing knife can make. I have beat these knives quite a bit and they still have great points. It is so much easier to throw these than it was with the light cheap knives. If you are looking for a cool knife set for cosplay or something, those other knives would be fine, but if you want to get accurate throwing at targets and get a much better value for your money, then these Cold Steel Sure Flights are the way to go.

Balanced but weak tips
I bought these last year and I did love them very much. Cold steel has always been a great brand in my opinion. I’m no professional thrower by any means but I’m no beginner either. Great balance, enjoyable to throw with ease and accuracy. I will say I’m pretty disappointed that 4 out of the six knives snapped their tips. I could understand if I missed and hitSomething hard but broke off into a soft wood target. I did enjoy the knives but don’t think I would purchase again because the longevity isn’t there in comparison to other styles.

Tip still there.
Nicely balanced and working well for half spin and no spin fron 10 feet. Penatrates well. You can see in the photos that my tip is not broken after hundreds of throws. Many times landing in the gravel. I would buy again.

Tips are thin and break easily
The tips are very thin. After less than 10 throws they all broke. I throw some other knives at the same pine butts and never have broken a tip. As far as the rest of the build if the knife it was good. Sturdy and balanced. I suppose if you wanted to grind them down, back to where the steel is a little thicker they'd be great. You can even see where the steel is crafted to a better spot where the point should be. I don't know why they extended it out with this thin little bit of metal. Either that if you're throwing at hay bales then they'd probably be great as well.
