The best feature, and one I've learned is absolutely essential for the longevity of silk trousers, is a good thick hem. I've owned two pairs of eyewateringly expensive silk trousers that were loosely hemmed, just folded once and sewn, and they quickly fell apart. The hem of silk pants takes a lot of stress, so it needs to be reinforced so the light silken threads don't start to come apart (once they do your pants are pretty much done). Very impressed at this price.
