Update: Sophia from the company reached out to me promptly and issued a refund. I appreciate her quick response and dedication to resolving the issue. I tested the Ionic Detox foot soaker with different types of water—tap, Deer Park Spring, and reverse osmosis—to observe how the water would change without soaking my feet in the water. When I used tap water, the color darkened significantly, and there were speckles, which suggested some level of reaction. However, when I switched to spring water, the color change was less intense and lacked the speckles. With reverse osmosis water, the water remained almost clear until I added salt, which caused a drastic color change. This suggests that the ionic detox system primarily reacts to the salt and not to toxins being drawn from the body. Based on this observation, I don't believe the product works as advertised. I would not recommend it.

Took off a star for unclear instructions. Honks me off when trying to figure out something & the translations do not make the instructions clear. I've done foot detox baths for 5 years at a wellness spa. With this bath at home, I got a deeper brown, greasy bath water (liver, gallbladder, joints, tobacco, grease/oil= oils, triglycerides, cholesterol). I eat very clean, am 115 lbs, don't drink & don't smoke or use meds so I was quite surprised by my water. I used half of softened well water & half R. O. water with the salt (just what does a gram of salt equal to in teaspoons?????) Strange thing is, my hubby's water (who has never done a detox) was similar in color! This does make me question some things. Cuz he is not the picture of good health, has elevated chol., & his liver I am certain needs detoxing. Neither of us had any heavy metals (which I've had in the past). Next detox, we will use our hypervibe to 'shake things up' first, then will see results & see if I can post again. He's still sleeping (much later than usual) so I'm curious if doing this zonked him out well!! Overall, I will continue to do because pulling ANYTHING out of the lymphatic system in this day & age is a GOOD thing!
