I was prepared to be a bit disappointed in these brushes based on the price point, but ordered a set based on a recommendation. Boy, was I wrong! The brushes are all nice quality and seem to paint nearly as well as some of my other (more expensive) brushes. The only very small issue is that the #1 brush has a single over long fiber, but I should be able to fix it or work around it. If you are looking to get your first, quality, natural hair brushes, I highly recommend this set. I should point out that I am not using these for watercolors, but for a variety of hobbies including figure painting and model railroading. Hopefully the wear well and last a long time!

For the last 2 years these have been my go to brushes. Versatile and affordable; perfect for beginners!

While not top of the line, these are great for the price. The No 3 brush is the best of the bunch. I Wouldn't use this set for competition painting but its been absolutely great for high detail army painting. Just make sure to use some good brush soap and you will get your money's worth. I didnt give 5 because that would mean it really out-performed my expectations.

These brushes are amazing, I have been using them 00 exclusively for miniature painting and it has really stepped up my game. I dont think i will ever go back to synthetic.

High quality brushes for the price, although for a start it's scary. Make sure to have a brush soap on hand to maintain these after use or else you'll have split ends quick. The finer detail brushes do their jobs and are very easy to use, the bristles on the brushes are definitely worth the price.
