Only if advised by your vet. This has worked really well for my cats urinary tract. I don’t want to use prescription medication for my pets until I absolutely have to. With proper diet and can pumpkin along with these drops; everything has gone great with digestion and urinary tract health and cats are getting A+check ups. You have to ask your vet about alternative ways that really work.

It must not taste horrible. My cat doesn't hesitate to lick up every last bit of his wet food if I put it on there and he doesn't try to scratch my face off if I do give it to him by mouth. As for its effectiveness....well...the jury it out. He is healthy as long as I do my job of keeping the litterbox up. He is peeing in some other areas right now but there's a stray outside appearing every few weeks. A female that I think is riling him up when she goes in heat or a male who is territorial but there was a gap between visits that I know of, so it's likely a stray or an irresponsible cat owner who didn't get a female fixed or keep her in. They were body slamming my window last night at 3 a.m. trying to get to each other. My cat is fixed, but he's a little orange weirdo and I didn't get him fixed until he was about a 1.5 years old. He wasn't originally mine and didn't come to me until he was a year old and then job loss happened and getting him fixed was a trial. Eh, whatever. You didn't need all that back story but you got it anyway. I haven't noticed any side effects. It isn't strong smelling but I'm just a hoooman. lt's pretty easy to use. Remember to shake it. I always do a little body wiggle when I'm about to put it in the food, just for kicks. With the amount you have to give, the bottle is a pretty good size to last a while.

I have an older cat. She is an absolute diva. Long haired all white with a black tail. She is the most loving kitty you will ever meet. And this amazing kitty has FUS. She is needs to eat special food that cost me over $100 per month because it must be low in magnesium and cannot have any grains. Her kidneys create little crystals at times and they are very painful. She isn’t a big time drinker and when these crystals form she is in pain and will pee in inappropriate places. During her flair ups she cries incessantly and my heart breaks for her. I bought this out of desperation for her, to try anything to make her feel better. I didn’t have high hopes but let me tell you this product worked!! I received the product and was impressed with the packaging dark glass, so I knew then that this product was legit. True essences need dark colored glass to protect its integrity. For the first two days I gave her two 1/4 dropper directly into her mouth twice a day and after two days I noticed her no longer crying and her inappropriate peeing was reducing. I also noticed the color of the urine was not as dark. Then I went to one 1/4 dropper twice a day and after approximately one week her inappropriate peeing stopped completely and she didn’t seem to be in pain any longer. I am 100% sold! I now have this one subscribe and save and will keep this product on hand. She doesn’t mind the taste but I will say she doesn’t seem to like it as much in her food. I think straight into her mouth is the most effective method. Overall, this product is not expensive and you get a good amount of a quality product. If you are on the fence get off it and give this product a try. For my kitty it works. I hope it helps your kitty as well!

I use this in my cats' food (which is easier than trying to give it to them manually) along with similar treats and it has helped tremendously. No more urinary problems.

My cat has FIC so he can get an irritated bladder with stress or a change in food. It's an expensive vet visit when it happens, so I've started to give him urinary supplements. I mix 3-4 of this and a few others into 1/2 a Churu in a bowl and he happily laps it up. Now he asks nightly for his "treat". I'm happy that the flavor of this isn't off putting enough for him not to eat it, as I have been unable to get Gabapentin or Onsior down him when he has a flare up. I hope this helps to keep those events down. For less than $10 I'm quite happy with the price too. My complaint is that the dropper leaks around the lid edges so it's messy to use, and the packaging was so ridiculously excessive. It arrived sealed in plastic wrap within a cardboard sleeve, with an outer cardboard box, with an Amazon bag, 4 types of wrap for one small bottle is just unnecessary and not the least bit eco friendly! 2 of those would have been plenty to get it to me safely.

This is really helping my senior cat with a urinary issue that popped up recently. She is very very fussy about what she consumes too - a very light eater. Yet I am able to get her to take twice daily doses without incident. I have been adding it to Whiskas cat milk and bone broth and, to my pleasant surprise, she drinks it all down. Think I will keep her on this for the rest of her life going forward. It is all natural. So I am comfortable with that for her.

It’s decreased the blood in the urine but my cat couldn’t tolerate it due to diarrhea and vomiting.
