A worthy contender
A genuinely impressive JPG Le Male Elixir clone. Let's not pretend this is a wholly original composition, because it isn't, Lionheart Heritage leans heavily into JPG Le Male Elixir, and it makes no effort to hide that inspiration. But it does it well. The DNA is unmistakably there, that same warm, boozy-gourmand vanilla and tonka character and it's been executed with genuine skill rather than the flat, cheap-smelling approach you get from a lot of clone houses. Where it really earns its keep is performance. Longevity is strong and projection holds up throughout the day, so you're not left with something that smells the part for the first twenty minutes and then disappears. It goes toe-to-toe with the original on both counts. If you don't have JPG money right now, this is a genuinely worthy contender for your cash. It's close enough, and confident enough in its execution, that I'd call it an easy blind buy - even without testing it first, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I would buy again, and would recommend to anyone who loves the Elixir but wants a more wallet-friendly rotation option. Rating: 4.5/5
