Pioneer Dresses for Girls-Prairie Pioneer Girl Costume Colonial Laura Ingalls Wilder Costume with Bonnet Apron

This is a western/prairie/pioneer dress that looks very realistic. The yellow fabric dress is a flower fabric. It feels a little thin and scratchy cotton material but I'm hoping will soften up after a couple of washes. The fit is true to size and has good length in the dress and sleeves. Apron adds character and a nice addition/accent to the dress. Bonnet is a little "poofy" but stays in place nicely with the hat tied under the chin.

I got this as an Easter outfit for my niece, but she wears it regularly to pre-school. The size is pretty forgiving, so she has room to grow.

Got this for my daughter. She loves it. She is amazed at the bonnet as she has never seen one before. She finds it so fun to wear. The pattern is subtle with yellow/white flowers on pink. The apron can be taken off and washed separately. I even washed the bonnet and so far, all washed very well. The dress can become very wrinkly if not taken out of the dry right away and hung. Fit my daughter fine even though she is on the small size.

My daughter has enjoyed reading the Little House on the Prairie Books so I was happy to pick up this Pioneer Girl costume for her.The yellow color is lovely. The apron is large and covers up the whole dress (it would be perfect for baking!). The only thing that was strange was the bonnet. The brim was odd and the hat didn't really fit her well.

My daughter loves this! It’s cute, and held up in the washing machine. The apron is great, but the pink material is a little thin. It had a strong smell when it arrived, so threw it in the wash. I wasn’t sure it would do ok in the washing machine, since it’s put together like a costume, but it did fine (even the bonnet).
