This small tankless water heater works great for a sink or small space. It heats up quickly, is compact, and was easy to install. It doesn’t take up much room and provides hot water almost instantly. Great value for the price and perfect for light everyday use.

We got the 2.5 gallon for under the kitchen sink as we were tired of wasting water waiting for it to get hot. We plugged it into an outlet that has a switch and I turn it on when needed, it only takes about 5 minutes to get really hot. It took a few days of experimenting because if you turn the water on and off, the cold comes into the tank each time it is turned off and cools down your hot water. Because of this I get everything ready first, and then leave the water running at a strong trickle while doing the dishes. This is wonderful - I am able to clean all the dishes before running out of hot water. This works really well for the two of us, but if you have lots of dishes it may not be enough volume without waiting a few minutes for it to heat up a new batch of water. Very very happy, and we are saving a lot of water now.

I've had it in for about a week now and can tell you it makes a huge difference in my household. My hot water heater is really far away from kitchen sink and we don't have a resurcolating system in our house so it would take 10 minutes in the winter time for the water to warm up. With this Mini hot water heater right under the sink I have instant hot water for about 5 minutes it only takes about 5 minutes to reheat the tank of water so if I'm doing dit is and I run out of hot water and I don't want to wait I can just go on do something else in the kitchen and by the time I'm done with that the water is hot again and I can finish the dishes. Exactly what I was looking for and saves tons of water over the wintertime.

Perhaps results vary? I read some decent reviews on this heater. Seemed like decent quality, but it only gets water hot, if you are running it AT A TRICKLE. I don't need hot water coming out like a fire hose, but I need to be able to wash my hands with it. These "cute little water heaters" are just that.... Cute. It is obvious that you are not going to get hot water through one of these at any rate of flow without using a small holding tank, OR 240v. PERIOD. Perhaps my review is not so much at this product but ANY of them in this price range with these specs. Just expecting too much.

I purchased this for installation under my kitchen sink so that the dishwasher will always have hot water for washing in case the kids forget to run the tap for a half minute first before starting the load. I ordered and received the 120V 4.5KW version. You need to do your research before you buy this because it requires 10-gauge wiring and a 40-amp GFCI circuit breaker which is harder to find and more expensive than you think. I ended up doing two parallel runs of 12-gauge wire to a tandem (2x20A) breaker to get my 40 amps of current capacity. Operation is good but a little underwhelming. The product performs to spec, but 4.5 kW doesn't do a lot for flowing water. Here are some numbers I've observed: - our kitchen faucet flows at 0.9 gallons per minute, as reported by this product, with the hot tap open and the cold tap closed - if the tap hasn't been opened in a while, inlet water temperature is around 70 F, as reported by the unit - this unit doesn't draw any current from the mains until ~4 seconds after the hot tap is opened, and then it immediately jumps to drawing the fully-rated 36 amps - after the unit starts heating, the reported water temperature quickly climbs to about 101 F - about 20 seconds after opening the hot tap, the temperature indicated on the unit climbs quickly to the set point of 131 F, suggesting that hot water has reached the unit from the home's main hot water tank So my observation is that the unit itself can raise water's temperature by about 31 F or 17 C at a flow rate of 0.9 gallons per hour. In my experience, most kitchen faucets can flow hot water faster than this one, so you'd see a rise even less than this at faster flow rates. I checked the math with duck.ai and these numbers are very close to what is expected in my circumstance. My dishwasher just died, so I haven't had the opportunity to see what the water flow rate will be with the replacement when it arrives in a few days. Hopefully it draws water at less than 0.9 gallons per hour, or the inlet temperature will be less than the recommended minimum of 120 F, except in the rare case where the water entering the on-demand heater is already elevated to 90 F or more. Unless it just isn't an option, I strongly recommend that you consider buying the 240V 6KW version since it would require a lighter gauge wire, a smaller dual-pole breaker, and keeps up with heat demands better with anything more than minimal water flow.

I use this in my small salon and it is perfect. It was very easy to set up and works very well. My only complaint is if I am washing a colour out of a very long, thick haired client it does start to get cool by the end, but it quickly recovers.

I have on demand tankless water heater for whole house. It wastes a large amount of water before getting hot enough at kitchen sink. Tried the small 2 gallon electric hot water in the past but found the elements were constantly burning out. This little tank puts out ample heat for the few minutes that we require for washing dishes etc. It does struggle after a few minutes with its 120 volt heater and because our well water is very cold (8 degrees C ) but covers the time it takes the main on-demand water to reach the tap. 8 months so far and doing well.

I use this to run my indoor water system in a cabin. The cabin has only above ground indoor water tanks and no gas, so electric water heater is the only option. This fits well in a cabinet and I can get about 4-5 minutes of hot water for a shower depending on the type of shower. It would be nice if the power cord was a little bit longer but I have since modified the cabinet to have a receptacle close by. This is the second winter with this unit and so far I have no major complaints.
