These (and the older but very much the same model, HV-094) are undoubtedly my favorite headphones of all time. They are tiny, but don't go *in* your ear canal but rather hang on the outer ear (you need to try this to understand if you never tried this type of earphones). This means that: 1. they don't hurt the ear even after a long time, 2. they don't shut off external sounds (which I guess can be a downside in certain environments, but excellent for usage in a usually-quiet home). 3. They simply don't fall out of the ear. They also sound great for my non-audiophile ears. Finally, these earphones are cheap... My 35-year experience with earphones shows me that every wired earphones I ever owned always broke. Usually, it's the cable that goes first and makes the whole set unusable. Even if I get a $100 set after at most a year, the cable becomes useless. These earphones are no exception, and in my experience usually last (with heavy usage!) about a year, but - they are so cheap, you can just get a new one without any regrets. These earphones are so good, and so much more convenient than all the common in-ear earphones that everyone else sells, that I'm always afraid Panasonic stops making these, so I actually keep a stockpile of these :-) If the earphone apocalypse comes around, I'm covered.

These buds just play well in everything I own. I've got Edifer, Koss, JVC, Sennheiser, Sony, Phillips, and who knows what else. Only the Sennheisers compare with these when compatibility is figured into the equation. If you impedance match you buds and headphones to your electronics as do I then you will end up with many sets. Trying to find a happy medium where the sound is no muffled or volume clipped on one device or just plain bad on another while working on your favorite player is a challenge. These Panasonic buds work quite nicely on them all and I mean all. I am particular about buds and phones and I was honestly quite surprised by the quality and sonic performance. Very surprised. Like I do on all my buds, I put foam cushions on them to keep 'em in my fat ears. L and R are easily distinguished but not necessary as these are bilaterally symmetrical. As opposed to most every other vendor, they come in an easily opened package marked for recycling and with minimal content. Low cost, great compatibility, sonically outstanding (to my ears, anyways), minimal recyclable packaging...these are just great and for less than $20 you get far more performance than many are able to offer for a lot more $$.

the earphone volume sounds actually pretty good and I think its far better than apples included headphones for the iphone 7. there are some definite disadvantages though. this works great for plugging into a laptop and although normally a sign of good earphone audio is that they produce powerful sound at low volume. that is not the case for these. you need to turn this up to about 36 in windows to get decent sound. although once I damaged the earphones with the 99.5 decibel source ive turned that down to 20. the earphones still sound fine but it is disappointing. the audio source was stereo converted to surround sound then converted to stereo and then raised to 99.1 with a perceptive decibel increasing tool. anyway although these are great headphones more powerful drivers or some way of providing the earphones more power would have been preferred for a higher price. these are good headphones and incredibly cheap. just try not to break them. because although the audio quality is good. these are the easiest earphones to break ive ever owned. although i frequently break headphones and earphones. still I might actually buy this again. hopefully theyll last for a couple more months.

They are not Light and Comfortable as indicated. They sound good, have good volume, and are about the same quality we used to get 10-years ago, but now the GENERIC cheap Ear Buds, sound muffled, and have low volume, so here is an alternative. When generic Ear Buds are no longer to be trusted, going with a Brand Name Product ensures a higher level of quality. I have some 99-cent Ear Buds that are just as good, however they were purchased a long time ago, and the good quality Ear Buds are not readily available anymore. I wish they would make the diameter about one-third smaller, because human ears do vary from one person to the next. Also a rubber coating would have been more comfortable than that hard plastic. For $5-dollars I expect better.

I've tried many brands and this particular model of cheap earbuds are the best, at least for my ears. These fit my ears better than any other earbuds I've used, and the sound is as good or better than any other cheap earbuds I've used as well. They are rugged too with no issues like one of the wires getting a short in it. I don't buy expensive earbuds because they are too easy to lose, I wear them in all kinds of situations like being sweaty working out, or covered in sunscreen at the beach. I've tried the Sony ones that are around the same price, but I don't like the way they fit my ear, and they really don't sound as good as these. I'd have to say that nailed it with these with regards to the fit, ruggedness, sound, and price.

This style of ear buds are old school today since every company has switched to inner ear style ear buds. While that newer style is nice and all they have two big draw backs. They cause your ears to produce more wax since your body thinks its being invaded by a froigen object. They also prevent you from hearing things outside of the music you're listening to which can be dangerous. If you're outside and say someone sneaks up on you or something else happens where you need to act fast but can't because you can't hear anything. These older style ear buds however don't block out outside noise and they also don't cause your ears to produce more wax. These Panasonic earbuds are in my opinion the BEST of this style earbud currently on the market. They're loud, very clear and are able to produce great sounding lows. By comparison the Sony and JVC earbuds in this style sound good and are in fact great products in their own right. But they don't compare to these Panasonic earbuds! Compared to inner ear style earbuds these come close but they won't hold up since these are considered lowered end products today so the major manufactures won't invest in making this style of earbud compete in the market today. So where are these earbuds useful? If you're always out and about these will be great. You can hear almost everything around with these on while you play music. Another use would be if your job allows you to listen to an MP3 player. Or just to use as your everyday earbuds. I wish Panasonic and other brands would start to make these with a microphone built into the cord so I can use these with my cellphone in the same way I can use my inner ear style earbuds.

I've had these for less than a week so far but they're the best earbuds I've had as of yet. I hate the other types with the little mushy thing that sticks inside the ear so first and foremost, the shape of these earbuds is absolutely perfect. They aren't too hard and they fit my smallish ears like a glove. I've been using them regularly for the past few days and they have yet to bother me. I was previously using Apple ripoffs I found elsewhere on Amazon and the quality of those is complete garbage in comparison to these. I keep my volume at the lowest option before it's muted and I can barely hear anything going on around me. They're pretty good noise blockers and they're good quality, particularly for the price. I'll update in a few months with how they've held up, but as it stands I definitely recommend them especially if you're not a stickler about your earbuds.

I prefer this design, they fit me well. I don't use them for music so the sound quality is fine for my purposes. I'm on my 3rd pair, they last a year or so. The price has increased from about $7 over the past few years but are still affordable.

The headset was working only for 5 months, which is quite a short product life for an expesive simple headset. However, it is worth mentioning that while it was working, the sound was indeed very good. Coincidentally, no guaranty was offered with this purchase.
