Basically no branding and feels amazing in hand. I’ve owned it all… Bullstrap, Andar, Belroy and other random Amazon no name brands and this wins by a mile. It’s so slim and the cutout is perfect. It’s pretty grippy and the patina is happening naturally.

I love nomad products. I have their watch bands, their charging stand for watch/iphone, and many other products. I was expecting the same high quality here.Unfortunately, the first case I got was poor quality. The buttons were very hard to press and the case itself was visibly crooked near the volume rocker. I bought another case just like it and sent back the original.The replacement one has the same issues. I had to use force and bend the crooked parts of the case back to straight. I had to push the buttons hard too with the phone out of the case to “break” them free of the leather cutout that was holding it back. It made the buttons easier to press.If you buy this case, it looks and feels amazing and protects well. Just know these 2 issues could be present when you open it.

Nomad just makes great accessories, and this phone case is no different. The leather quality is amazing, and it patinas beautifully. The aluminum accents are such a nice touch! You can’t go wrong with this case.

I have been using this as my daily case for my iPhone 16 for about two weeks and it is developing a nice patina. I really love the quality of the leather and the feeling of this case in the hand. I miss Apple's old leather cases and this is similar to what you got out of Apple back before they stopped producing leather.The buttons have a nice feel to them, although the volume buttons lost a bit of their clickiness compared to no case. They take a little more pressure to tap but not to the point of it being unusable.The extra space offered around the camera control button is nice. Having that extra room has made it easier for me to control the touch slide controls with that button compared to the last case I was using which only offered a simple cut-out around that area. The one bad thing is there is no protection right along the edge of the case and I managed to smack something against the glass screen protector I had on which broke the glass along the edge. Bummer.Speaking of a glass screen protector, with one on this phone it brings the glass almost us to the edge of the case. You can see in the photos I have included that the protective glass cover is near the edge of the case. I actually like this but it might make it more likely to break the extra glass if it is dropped.

Ever since Apple stopped making their leather case I have been looking for a good alternative. I've used a few other leather cases and they all lacked the attention to detail that the original Apple cases had. I've heard really good things about Nomad with a few of my co-workers using their cases religiously for years now, so I gave this one a shot and I am glad I did. The fit is PERFECT, and I mean it. I am amazed at the tolerances and attention to quality this case has. There isn't a single spot on the case that isn't perfectly lined up and where it should be. Protection is what you would expect for a leather case. If you are using it in situations where you are dropping it a lot, this case will protect it, but it is for someone who takes care of their phone. I was always really impressed at how well this case wears in on my co-workers phones and can't wait to see how it looks and feels after a couple months of use.
