French Press Coffee Maker

Coffee maker works fine! Will make a full 12oz of coffee. I USE IT EVERYDAY. Use course grind coffeeFilter is fine enough I have several other brand presses all bigger except one which is a Boudin brand which is a nicer press all stainless filter assembly, but three times the price. The coffee is no different. Great deal. As to one reviewer's complaint of scalding, you are using too fine a ground. First rule of press coffee, use coursee ground coffee or be very careful.

The screen is flimsy. If not real careful it will gap and let grounds in. But over all it's a good one cup brewer

I got mine for tea. The issue I have is with the screen/plunger. Down of the tea leaves manage to get into my cup because the screen part isn't flush to the glass. I can only imagine how much worse this would be for coffee grains. The tea leaves I have are on the larger side and they don't fit into a diffuser so I got this instead.It works fine but there's still a fist amount of leaves floating around my cup.

It came fully broken. Package was not good inside the box for this glass. And also pay attention it’s very small, like for 1 cup.

I purchased a couple of these and use a fine mesh metaltea filter and it filters it well as I pour into the cup.. Butsuddenly my unit cracked (tonight) and I can't find out howto get in touch with the seller ... it shouldn't have cracked.

This is super cute and tiny and meant for a one cup of coffee. For those people wanting a real full cup of coffee of 8 oz, it won’t be large enough. This is really half a cup of coffee. That’s all I want. But the problem I’m having is the mesh screen does not effectively hold back coffee grinds. Otherwise this tiny French press is fine. I wash mine and let the parts dry with paper towel, so I haven’t had a dusting issue yet like other reviewers have mentioned. But I’ve only had it for a week. IKEA has the best and well priced French presses with different sizes imo opinion. This model arrived quickly which is what I needed a week ago. I would not buy this again.

Originally ordered this product for my sons dorm. When I first got this, it was broken. But Amazon was great in returning this and sending a new one with a speedy shipping. Works fine and coffee tastes great.

It's not a blender, so I don't know why it has blending power... But as a French press single serve coffee maker, this is absolutely amazing. It makes my Folgers Black Silk coffee taste like it is much higher end than it really is. I also use Cameron's vanilla hazelnut coffee in it. The automatic drip coffee is all running around to the perfect size for this unit. Don't think this is a huge unit, this is perfect size for 12 ounce cup of coffee. If you make the coffee strong and add creamer it is perfect.
