This stuff is beyond amazing and into legendary! I mixed it with the lime crime color "pony" and got this absolutely gorgeous lilac color. This is better than I hoped for and I actually think I'll be willing to touch up my bleach job just to keep this amazing color! Not sure if the dilute mix will affect the longevity of the dye at this point but even if I have to redye every few weeks it will be worth it.I always go with lime crime hair dye because the range of colors is among the best, it's not damaging to hair and it lasts a long time for me. Even the fade out is usually really pretty! Not gonna lie though there are not many light colors in the lime crime line up and that was what I was looking for. Stumbled on this product and honestly as an idea it's genius but I didn't expect it to really work that well. "Pony" is always my go to purple because personally I think it's the prettiest shade of purple on the market across all brands. Mixed it roughly 70% dilute 30% pony, beautiful in the bowl (wish I'd taken a pic or something to color match later but dumbly didnt) and let it set 3 hours. Could not possibly be more thrilled with the results!!!! 400 million stars!!!*****READ PRODUCT DISCRIPTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY/REVIEW****** This product is marketed as a mixer, it even says mixer on the box. THIS IS NOT A DYE! So many 1 star reviews are people upset that they didn't get dyed the box color which is admittedly beautiful and bash the product as "didn't work at all". Y'all. Every single piece of this product from the name, the box, and even the instructions clearly state that it is designed to lighten separate dye colors. I don't know how they possibly could have been more clear. You could definitely MIX a color similar to the box color but you would have to start with the whitest platinum blonde imaginable for it to work. Please, stop blaming products because you are too lazy to read how it works. End of rant.

I have been doing my own hair for 20 years, I’ve literally tried everything. I have natural dark almost black hair and lifting it can be tricky. There was one at Sally’s beauty supply that worked really well and then it just disappeared one day. I tried this one about a year or so ago and baby IT LIFTS. Sometimes, depending on what color/tone I’m lifting, it may leave a copper tone and I have to tone it but typically it gets it evenly lightened to the shade I need and it doesn’t feel damaging on my hair. I will forever use this lifting kit and recommend it. 10/10 the best for at home hair lifting and coloring

This product is not a developer it is a diluting mixer. If you don't know the difference between these you shouldn't be dying your own hair. This product was formulated to go with products specifically from Lime Crime's hair line which are ready to apply deposit-only dyes—similar to Manic Panic. You could use this with any deposit-only dye that doesn't require developer. Clairol, Ion, etc. are all going to require developer and would not be "activated" by this product.Please do research before leaving misleading reviews.

My daughter has blonde hair and this didn’t show up at all. We’ve had the pink and it works great, but this does not work

Mixed it with lime crime amine blue. Turned out a duller blue like it states it does when mixed with other lime crime colors. Packaging is always pretty but it is always not easy to get out of the jar (only reason I gave it 4 out of 5). I can use one jar and fully cover my hair (about mid way through my back with short layers). It is my 1st time using the mixer so it was user friendly.

This product smelt really good but it didn't add any tint or color to my hair. I left in on over the recommended time and this was the result.
