I didn't need everything in the kit, (e.g. I don't have a shotgun) but the kit is future-proof. Full disclosure - there were some pieces missing. I emailed the seller and they made it right (and then some). I used it right away to clean my FN509, everything worked like a charm. I especially like the needle-tip bottles for oiling. Very precise, and you can use just the right amount. It took me a minute to figure out that you needed to use the brass adapters on the rods to attache the jags. It's all great. The only thing I would suggest is that it would have an extra compartment in the case for misc items that you might want to add.. e.g. extra patches, extra brushes (if you have some already), a pick.Overall - great kit, great seller! Very happy.

After I wore out some of the brushes for gun barrel cleaning, I picked up this kit to add to my package. This package size is not small, probably not for the range use, but excellent for cleaning guns at home. What I like this kit most compared to my old popular brand of kit is that every rod thread is the same and can be fitted with the proper size of cotton or bronze brush. Couple of my old stuff only has "the end" rod will fit the brushes and they are inconvenience to use. One reason that I choose this kit is the rods are copper instead of aluminum, which I like much better. Two models fo this kit is available, and selected the cheaper one; the difference is the cleaning pad push head is plastic instead of copper, but since I usually don't use them, these plastic tips will last longer the copper brushes, so I paid less money for basically the same thing. It is a basic cleaning kit with most caliber handgun calibers. Rifle caliber brushes has most popular ones but surprises to see .17 .20 and .50 caliber are included. Shotgun brushes include popular 12 20 410 gauge, so it is plenty good. I only used once for handgun cleaning and found everything is working fine. How long would this kit last? I feel it is a little better than some of the other kits that I have because it fits better, and I would expect it will last a long time also.

Does what it should, but not sure for how long. Kit has nearly everything you need, but rods are kinda flimsy. Whenever I must attach the 3rd rod section, it always feels like it's going to bend or break, upon insertion into the barrel. Bought in 2021 and seems to be trucking along, so hopefully I am wrong.Overall, I am pleased thusfar. Tips seem to be holding up and the case itself is functional and well designed for all items to fit. And it has survived a 1400 mile move.

There were hundreds of cleaning kits on Amazon, so I was wondering among them and eventually ordered this one thanks for other peoples' review. After a couple gun cleaning, I thought it is my time to make a little contribution.As it was named, the kit is a universal package you would ever need for ordinary gun cleaning, as a gun owner. It puts all high quality tools at your finger tip, of course, except the solutions and oils. I have cleaned my riffles and handguns with it couple times. Easy to use, just add CLP, and job well done. The only improvement I can suggest is to make the bore brush being able to hook to the handle directly - right now you still have to use the full rod for handgun bore clean, which is too long than convenient.Overall, I am willing to give it a 5 start. The kit is worth more than its price.

I bought this kit a little while back and have used it several times over the last year or so. It's been great so far! What prompted me to go back and leave a review was the recent superb customer support I received. I ended up breaking a rod (admittedly was my own fault). I reached out to purchase a replacement rod so that that it fit in the case and matched the set. Support took care of me and that in itself deserves a great review. But on top of that, this kit is honestly a great value for the money.

I highly recommend this kit and the vendor. It is a good cleaning kit. There are a lot of good cleaning kits, but this one is especially nice -- complete and well laid out. The Service is where this vendor truly shines! There was a very minor issue (a missing jag). with the kit I received. On 11 Mar 2020, I sent their Customer Service an e-mail to request a replacement. On 13 Mar 2020, a replacement arrived. Actually, their Customer Service went far far beyond a simple replacement. I am a happy camper. This vendor has my total trust. Well done, Freetime!

This kit is excellent. Literally everything you need in one. The only thing I can pick on is that there is no extra place for your own little add ons. For example, I keep my small patches and medium patches in a separate container. As well as my cleaning toothbrushes and black plastic Glock push rods. Other than that, the quality of this cleaning kit is great. Especially in terms of cost vs efficiency. I am satisfied and it is everything you think it is. I am happy and definitely recommend.

All the brushes are fairly well marked, the rods are a little fiddly when trying to find if they fit together or not and the smaller handled rod in my particular set won't stay in its slot once the lid is closed, (not a deal breaker but mildly annoying) the fine tipped bottles are fantastic in helping regulate the amount of solvent and oil I go through. This kit comes with enough cleaning pads to last you months of active shooting and the included locator sheet certainly makes finding the tool you're looking for easier to find. It doesn't have a brush specifically listed for 9mm but the .30 is the one you're after if you happen to be cleaning a 9mm. Good value, works well.
