great idea in principle...
I have been using it for over a week now. I do not use the mousing surface, which is not very high quality to begin with. The palm rest is a great find.On paper, this device is a great idea. It's a palm rest that goes with your hand. This compares favorably to mouse pads with a fixed palm rest that pulls your wrist skin if you try to move the mouse without lifting your hand. Furthermore, the designer left out space in the middle of the foam of the palm rest so that there is no direct pressure to the middle of the wrist. The problem is that it is really hard to keep the palm rest aligned with the mouse as you move. The palm rest ends up in somewhat arbitrary orientation, and the second benefit is lost. I end up taping the bottom of the mouse to the palm rest and the orientation is now fixed. Effectively, I am using a mouse that has built-in a foam palm rest. See the photos I uploaded.

Pad is excellent for gamers, palm support is same for extended PC use
I really like the pad, as it is big but not so big that it didn't fit my keyboard tray. I have an Anker gaming lazer mouse and the pad surface is excelent for fast response to mouse movement/tracking. The palm support works well for non-gaming use, but it gets in the way for any use in a fast online shooter game application. The palm support works well for palm support of extended PC use where otherwise you would be pressing down on your palm against a hard surface.

Meh...its a mouse pad, nothing too exciting
Nothing too fancy about this and at $8, didn't expect much. The wrist pad is comfortable and does its job. Foam seems to be of nice quality. Mouse pad is large and the slick surface works well with the wrist rest. For normal office use I found that I maybe had to move my arm more, but honestly I got used to it quick and no longer notice it. For gaming though, for quick small movements the rest makes it a little awkward. I tend to slide the mouse further away from the rest leaving about an inch gap and now I am able to make those small adjustments and actually I prefer this.As for the user who taped his to the wrist rest I don't think it's necessary. It depends on how you prefer to hold the mouse. I have a normal size mouse and for me having the mouse right up against the rest is a little too close. So taping it to the rest would make you have to move your whole arm more because its too close to make the small wrist movements. For what you get, it looks like this is one of the better deals here, so I would recommend this.

Innovative Producgt
My mousing wrist was getting very sore from resting on desktops and mouse pads. I had tried several other mouse pads with gel or foam or bead cushions, all worthless. My wrist is fine now. Another reviewer uploaded photos and recommended taping the mouse and this product together on the under side so they work as one unit; that works very much better. There is a standard model and a professional model; I have both. I like the standard model with tape added better than the professional model which has a somewhat dysfunctional addition to hold the mouse and product together. It took a few days to get accustomed to the change from standard mouse pad.

Great mouse pad, mouse glides so smooth. Does not work with all mouses
This mouse pad is really useful. And the best thing is this mouse pad has a wrist pad specially designed to avoid the carpal tunel issue. The only drawback: it seems this mouse pad is reflective, and does not work with my new VerticalMouse 4 from Evoluent. It only works with my old (and pain causing) Logitech regular mouse.

Great Idea BUT doesn't fit larger mice!
Purchased two of these. Like the idea of a space between the supports of my wrist to maintain circulation and this does the job BUT note that it does not fit larger mice such as the vertical ergonomic styles. Additionally, there is an elastic strap which is supposed to wrap around the mouse to hold it to the wrist support. This has adhesive pads on each end to connect it which will not hold up long. Would have been better had they used velcro.

Good but takes some adjustment on your part
This setup is more comfortable on the wrist than having a separate wrist rest on the mouse pad, but it does take some getting us to as you need to move more of your arm rather than just flexing your wrist to move the cursor around the screen. I'm still getting used to it and can't say I totally love it yet but if you have wrist pain from too much mouse time, it is definitely worth a try for the price.

cannot live without this item
I ordered this to replace a older model of this item. This is much improved even though the old one was excellent. The pad is very thin with a slightly adhesive material on the back to keep from slipping. I would not use another model as this is perfect!
