I bought these for a friend for her birthday. She loves them. A perfect addition to any bookcase or desktop! They are metal and very sturdy.

I used these on top of my refrigerator to hold cookbooks. Multiple large, heavy cookbooks. I had my doubts that these bookends might be too flimsy but they are working so well!!! My books don’t budge at all, the bookends never slip on the plastic surface of the fridge. Very impressed with these, and as a bonus - they match my Kitchenaid mixer!

Bought more when I found out how great this item is. Up to the task of holding big books in place.

Really sturdy bookends, held my dictionaries with no trouble. One note is that they are pretty large, bigger than a mass market paperbook, but they are really good for larger books. I have some in both red and white and they look great.

They are very light weight, but they look cute and work on a floating shelf.
