Yummy
I've had this for a while and many of the seeds don't sprout. My cat loves her veggies and I keep a pot growning all the time. She did not like the mixed type of seeds.

Grew fast and my cats are happy.
Review of my second purchase: (mid 2021) The first time I ordered these seeds no weevils. The second time around the bag had weevils in it. Wheat weevils. They live inside the wheat kernel during their larva stages until they become full adults when they emerge from the grain and are the little black weevils people have mentioned and shown in photos in other reviews. When the larva are inside the kernels you cannot see them. So at first the seeds may seem fine, then a week or several weeks later the bag is crawling with bugs. The larva do eat the kernel from the inside out. Which makes the seed yield lower. So if you see any weevils inside your bag, put it in the freezer right away and keep it in there for a couple weeks, to kill any adults weevils or larva inside the kernels. If humans or animals eat the weevils they are harmless. The majority of my second buggy seed bag grew and grew very well. Cats still loved it. Review of my first purchase: (mid 2020) I planted a portion of seeds the day it arrived. I scattered the seeds fairly densely. Then I put the remaining unused seeds in a glass jar. I lightly watered the dirt daily and it sprouted within a few days. It is growing fast. My cats happily nibble at it. And then also yank the whole piece of grass out. This isn't my first cat grass rodeo, so I bought extra seeds. Then I can just replant more when they destroy it or eat it all. My oat grass seeds arrived, and are still, insect free. I've had an infestations of wheat weevils in the past (they arrived in some dry pasta). Because of that we store anything these weevils eat (dry beans, grains, seeds, pastas, etc) in sealed containers or in the freezer.

approved by my kitten
My kitten LOVES this. He goes crazy about it, just like catnip if not more. Even with the seeds; he found the seed bag in the cupboard and ate his way through it then seeds went all over the floor and he rolled in them. I have to supervise him when he eats it or he pulls everything out and carries the soil all over the floor. He has not gotten sick from eating it like a pig. He just likes this as much as chicken, lol I've had no issue growing it. I will buy again but the bag will probably last me for a long time. I only need a small amount of seeds to get the grass like on the picture and I just top it up regularly.

Used for cat grass
I only gave 4 stars because the seeds seem to be mixed a little bit. All the seeds look the same in the bag (see pic) but some sprout with seed leaves. I don't know what kind of plants they are and if they are OK for my cat to eat. I have not had that happen before. But it is just a few of them so I just pick them out before I let my cats have the plate (I sprout it outside and bring it in once it's ready). But if you lived in a cold place, that wouldn't work during the winter. I have not had this mix issue happen with any other different brands of grass seeds I have purchased off of Amazon for this purpose.

Never Sprouted
Chose this product bc I grow multiple containers of cat grass constantly and the package contained enough seeds to last me 2 months. Unfortunately the seeds never germinated (sprouted). I have ongoing success with another company’s product, so obviously it’s not my methods, not my soil, not my inability. Was very disappointed

Grows very quickly .Cats love it! Enough seeds to share
I received 1lbs oat grass seeds in November. Here In cold michigan the Seeds germinated very quickly, indoors of course. I Grew alot in small pots here and there . seeing results within 3 days. After about 10 to 14 days under a small LED grow light my cats are enjoying ! Cats seem to enjoy Oak grass a whole lot more than wheatgrass. I'm purchasing another one pound bag but it has gone up from $8.35 to $10.50 . Maybe it was a holiday special when I purchased it the first time. There is enough seeds to share with your family and friends for their pets . I'm purchasing more because it works great my cats and my father's cat Love It ! Plus running low on count of giving some away lol . try it you can't go wrong !

A+ with cost savings and happy cats, using same process as expensive kits!
Great price and cost savings. Live cat grass from pet shops or grow your own kits usually cost 7+ dollars. But this product will allow you to create almost endless amounts of cat grass which will make your kitties very happy. Extremely easy to plant. Place seeds inn food grade potting soil, cover with 1/2 inch of dirt, Cover with press and seal, and please in a dark place making sure that the seeds stay moist after about five days you will see them start to sprout when they get to about an inch take the cover off and use them like regular cat grass I have done three planters full and still have this many seeds, making my two pussies so happy!

Worked pretty well
Buying these in bulk, you definitely save money, as opposed to buying cat grass pre-grown in the store. It takes less than a week for the grass to show up in the dirt, and about a week for it to be ready for cat to eat. However, the seeds don't last that long if you are only wanting to plant a small amount at a time. I recommend putting them in the fridge if you are going to do it that way.
