Great nylon coated steel rod with smooth bearings.
Love the Dewey rods. I bought this one because I already have a 30 cal from 20 years ago. The 22 works well for 6.5 as a 30cal doesnt work. Also have a old Swiss 1911 which the 36" rod is too short to clean from the action side. This rod still does well pushing a 30cal brush and the bearing on it is extremely smooth so it follows the rifling.On my ARs the 40" is a bit long so I just use my free hand as a guide by closing my hand on the rod up against the upper receiver until the brush gets started.Overall can't beat the price for a nylon coated single piece rod. There really isn't anything in its price point you can get instead at this time.

comes with an 8x32 adapter to take brushes, not sure why thats not stated.
The description on amazon sucks. The rod itself has a male 8 x 36 thread. It comes with a female to female connector adapter. One side is 8 x 36, the other side is 8 x 32. Most of my brushes are 8 x 32. So I ordered the rod, and I ordered an adapter (which I didn't need to order) because...the description on amazon sucks.

Awesome Cleaning Rod
I bought this for my Howa 6.5 Creedmoor bolt rifle. I use a bore guide and this rod is perfect for when I am cleaning and lubing the barrel. The handle rotates very well so the bearings in it are durable and appears to be very well made. Fast delivery too. I highly recommend this cleaning rod.

Good Rod But Shipped Without Plastic Tube Packaging
Dewey makes great rods and jags. I was disappointed in shipping as the rod arrived in a big golf club like box by itself with the packaging that you seenin the stores to protect the rod. With that said the product did arrive with any damage thankfully.

Very good cleaning rod for car it and bench rifles
It is a very good cleaning rod . It allows me to clean my 26 inch barrels it all inserts in them .
