Time to replace the cell
I couldn’t believe mine had worn out after 5 years. We run our pool 4.5 months a year about 12 hrs a day. The cell blades actually had never been covered with deposits. So I guess these periodic reversing works. After some discussion with autopilot support it lead to replacing the cell. That solved my problem. Also, they recommend replace the long white cable when replacing the cell.

Bluer than Blue!
My pool us beautifully blue again! Popped in the new cell, and it did it's thing immediately! Very good product! Also, I only purchased the cell, and not a new cord as recommended, and like I said, it's working perfectly!

Excellent product and great tech-support
Auto pilot in Clearwater, Florida should be commended. There’s a gentleman there tech-support for the solar systems by the name of Robert. He not only takes his time. He’s very knowledgeable about the product about the system and about the results highly highly highly recommend auto pilot and Robert.

Works exactly as it should. for some reason when i plugged mine in it read that the salt cell was at 80% life which could be anything and not the cell itself. For me thats not an issue as this unit is rated to do 20k gallons and my pool is 12k.Note: PLEASE learn from me and get yourself:Permatex 22058 Dielectric Tune-Up Grease, 3 oz. TubeIf ANY water gets between the posts and the cable when you put the cable back on it will slowly eat away at the post. After a while the post will look like its been chewed on by squirrels and it will no longer make a connection. There is nothing worse than a cell being at 40% life but no longer able to be used... that sucks big time.Use a Q-tip and swab the posts with the Grease and plug it in. It will keep water away from the posts, the grease is conductive and that's what its made for.

Great replacement Pool Cell
Our original pool cell on our saltwater pool went bad. This replacement works great and we are back in business enjoying our pool again.
