Very strong tool.
I used one of these on hard clay, with many stones in it. The sort of job that can take days to do using a big pick axe, has now become very easy to carry out with a breaker, fitted with one of these spdae tools. The speed of digging in hard. stoney ground is amazing. You could do in an afternoon what would otherwise take you the best part of a working week to do with a pick axe. The size of the fitting is universal for breaker/demolition tools, so should fit any tool with this type of fitting that I know of. The tool is heavy in the hand, but then it would be to be of any use long term. The point is very blunt so you won't be cutting your hand any time soon, but for digging into hard, stoney ground it is effortless. I highly recommend this tool for very hard ground (using a breaker tool) but it would be over kill on mostly stone free soil etc.

This spade rocks!
I have a backyard that is full of hard clay. Hard dense clay that has been baked in the Arizona sun. My yard also had a lot of concrete chunks the builders buried under the hard clay. I decided to cultivate the ground and transform into a pleasant space of grass, trees, and shrubbery. I could not make progress because of the hard clay and large concrete chunks. Bought a demo hammer and this spade and took the yard to task. This shovel rocks! As in breaks hard clay and giant concrete chunks. Got a lot of work done. Quickly. The demo hammer is heavy. The spade is heavy. But it gets the job done. My 14 year old son loved using it as well.

It does a great job of breaking very hard ground
It does a great job of breaking very hard ground. The price was right, I wish the shaft was a little longer.

Util para ahorrar trabajo
Puede funcionar mejor o peor dependiendo del martillo compresor, para tierra sin piedras va bien, aunque el peso del conjunto no es muy "accesible" para cualquiera.

Worked great trenching my Georgia clay full of small roots
I bought this to use with my XtremepowerUS Demolition Jack Hammer. The shaft and notch fit with no issues. I used it to break up hard packed clay full of small surface roots. My original plan was to rototill the trench and then shovel it out. The tiller would hardly scratch the surface. After breaking 2 shear pins I gave up on the tiller. I was able to break up the hard pack easily with this spade bit. Then go back to the original plan to till it and shovel out. This is the widest spade or chisel bit I could find. An 8, 10 and 12" width version would be nice.
