Great Pencil, Cool Design, Comfortable and Resists Lead Breaks
This is a very cool looking pencil. The internal DelGuard system provides a spring cushion for your lead which resists breakage. Great for heavy handed writers. The wide barrel and light weight make it a comfortable, fatigue-less writing experience.

Great mechanical pencils, the DelGuard system's an added bonus
.5mil lead is the first of many good things for this guy, it's awesome for writing because of it. Couple that with its "DelGuard" lead protection and you've got something great for scribbling down whatever's on the mind, taking notes, heck, even drawing, to an extent. It's not built for it, but sketching with this guy is fun, feels nice with a little extra weight than a normal mechanical pencil, but the guard system doesn't really work when you're lightly lining like that. The lead you get isn't bad either, reggo old HB is a gold standard and this one's nothing different. Feels nice and gets dark with a lil extra pressure

Love this mechanical pencil, love that when you push hard even at an angle, it won’t break the lead as it has a mechanism where a sleeve comes out to protect the lead. great Japanese engineering!

Zebra makes Great Products that are durable and long lasting! To me, 0.5mm lead is my favorite lead. I recommend the softer leads, such as, 2B or 3B; they give somewhat darker markings while writing or computing on white paper.Sincerely,Roland R. Albert

Protective function works well
I got this for my 7-year old to draw with. Having tried it myself, it does a great job at protecting the lead. I generally prefer a 0.7 mm thickness since I sometimes press too hard but this seemed fine. My boy loves it for sketching.

Beautiful, comfortable, writes nicely. Would buy again! I can still manage to break the lord quite easily though.

Can’t break it!
A co worker told me about this. I would use the .7 instead of the .5 because I kept breaking the lead as I press hard when I write. This is nearly impossible to break unless you are trying to break it. I can now use the thinner .5 lead as I like the detail better. Great idea for a product!

You will NEVER use another mechanical pencil again
These are by far the most comfortable mechanical pencils I have ever used. You REALLY have to try to break off the lead. The eraser is a bit small, so it would probably be best to have a separate eraser.

Liegt gut in der Hand
Wichtigstes Kauf-Argument für mich war die Aussage, dass die Minen nicht brechen. Und das Versprechen wird definitiv gehalten. Wenn der Stift runterfällt, hat man auch gute Chancen, dass die Mine heil bleibt (aber nicht immer). Der Stift ist relativ leicht, könnte etwas schwerer sein, aber das gibts nur beim Modell LX mit Metall-Griffteil. Optisch gefällt der Stift auch gut mit seinem Wabenmuster. Ich habe schon zwei von diesen Stiften und einen LX parallel im Einsatz. Weitere werden wohl noch folgen.
