Does exactly what it says it will do. since we moved into our new home my husband sets off the fire alarm about every other day. this has been an absolute blessing to have for me at 5'3"!!

Pole extends but retracts when pressing it against anything. I’ve tried everything from testing exit signs, emergency lights, and smoke detectors but it begins to retract and doesn’t allow me to apply force to properly press the test button. Cool handle and wrist wrap but other then that I don’t recommend.

This tool is very efficient, but breaks easily. I use it for inspections to check smoke detectors. I’ve had it 2 weeks and a small piece flew out while extending it. This was the second one I purchased. I need another one, but need to find a better quality replacement
