The media could not be loaded.  I can't tell if the other reviewers just don't know how to germinate seeds or if I got lucky. I put some of mine in damp paper towels in a ziplock bag and left them in a drawer. They all sprouted and I eventually transferred them to seed trays. Some of them I just sowed directly in seed trays like the packaging said. I also use seedling heating mats which helps speed up germination. Keep in mind seeds need to be damp and dark in order to sprout.I started the seeds in February, and I am writing this review on July 23rd. Pretty much all of my plants got rootbound because I waited too long to transplant, but they are doing excellent now in my raised bed.I have already harvested a few peppers and pickled them. Generally I like to wait until they turn yellow or red, but I have heard that if you pick the first peppers right as they grow to mature size it signals the plant to produce even more peppers.These will all be pickled/canned for use on sandwiches. I already pickled some of them and they were delicious. I'll try to update with some more pictures/description when I get some ripe peppers off the plants.In retrospect I wish I got Hungarian Wax peppers instead, because they are a slightly spicier type of banana pepper with a higher scoville rating. To give my pepper rings an extra kick I have been pickling them along with a habanero or jalapeno pepper.

This plant did its thing all season. It is now suffering in the unusual heat in our region this summer but it is still producing.
