Failed after 4 months
Wasn't too happy about about the quality of this cable after receiving it a little over four months ago now, but since I use all nylon braided cables on my gaming system, I wanted to use it and it did seem to work o.k. However, my experienced ears, after being an audiophile for over 50 years, perceived a slight loss of sound quality as well. Then the connection began cutting out every time I moved the cord. It developed a bad connection in the plug to the headset or the cable itself up to the plug. Put the original cord on, problems solved. Very disappointing.
