My wife loves to color, but she says time and again, she is not right brained or creative. She specifically wants color by number. The issue with this, I was difficult to find really beautiful color by numbers. They were either extremely HUGE (for sight impaired) with very little color variety or two, they were children themed. I bought Creative Haven's Christmas color by number and she enjoyed it so much, I bought them ALL. She uses fine tipped markers and they come out beautifully. She is a high level manager at work, and being able to sit down and do this at night is like therapy for her. They are beautifully detailed and I recommend using fine pointed markers as opposed to pencils for these. The way they have these laid out, they color really pops and makes for a very satisfying end product. Now I am always on the look out for volumes I don't yet have!

Wow, what a beautiful coloring book! Not to mention the price which is currently only $5.99 (regular $9.99) and one of the best things of all, it was made in the USA. And although there is a color guide on the inside cover, if you prefer a more individual look you can choose your own or just switch a color out here and there to your liking. There's also a brief "Introduction" as well as "Tips And Techniques" offered to try and aid you in obtaining the best possible outcome in your endeavors. The pages themselves come on white stock, moderately thick, one sided, and also perforated for easy removal. The lines are a medium gray color and the numbers are VERY faint and small so you may need your glasses if you use them. Some of the details are tiny and intricate too so while you could use markers, I think colored pencils or crayons would be a much better choice. The finished illustrations are all very vivid and stunning with lots of reds, greens, and other bright colors. This collection includes dozens of beautiful landscapes with bridges, houses, barns, waterways, flowers, trees, fruits, pumpkins, birds, canoes, animals, wells, pumps, wagons, etc... Just lots and lots of variety so I'm sure there's something for everyone. All you need is this book, the corresponding colors located on the inside cover (or your own) and your imagination =)

This color by numbers book is hard. The picture numbers are too light and the line borders are somewhat confusing. BUT, this is a great book if you are going through a divorce. All your concentration is going on making sure you color the picture correctly, you don't have the time to think about the no good "turtle" who abandoned you and the family. THE PICTURES ARE BEAUTIFUL ONCE YOU COMPLETED THEM! If you have time and patience, please purchase this book. It's good THERAPY, no matter what you are going through.

Super fun, tons of details and a nice thick paper that doesn't bleed through to the next page. Each page can also be ripped out as they are clearly perforated. I love how it holds color without having issues with bleeding or shading out. Super good price, great gift idea, will definately be buying more.

The pictures are really great, this is a entertaining coloring book for young people - However - Challenging for people who need glasses. It is difficult to read the numbers - they are too small, and the print is way too light. Had to give away because I could not read the numbers without a magnifying glass.

Aus dieser Serie - eines der Besten Bücher. Malen nach Zahlen ,mit heraustrennbaren Blättern. Schöne Farbauswahl . Die Bilder sind mit dickeren und dünneren Konturen gezeichnet , so ,dass man hier ineinander vermalen kann. Nicht für Wasserfarben geeignet, da das Papier dünn ist. Mit Filzstiften habe ich es noch nicht probiert.

Whilst appreciating that the numbers must be in light ink so they don't show through the colouring in, I think the numbers could be larger and more easily read.
