Bmax B3 Pro Mini PC, Intel N4500 Processor (Up to 2.8GHz) Beats N95/N97/N150 8GB RAM 256GB SSD, Micro Desktop Computer with Dual HDMI 4K, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 for Home & Office

This is my 2nd BMAX mini-PC purchase after 5 years, and I am absolutely a fan of mini-PCs in general. BMAX stands out from the rest of the mini-PC offerings in that they incorporate recent chipsets (AMD or Intel), dual NVMe support, and all the connections (USB-C, DisplayPort, HDMI, etc) you would expect on an up to date PC today. In short, this is not system comprised of a hodgepodge of generations old surplus components. Although maybe the 'surplus' description is still applicable. My first basic and very affordable mini PC still works today, but due to my extremely positive experience, I decided to upgrade to one of their most powerful offerings today. The BMAX B8A Pro runs a current AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS released July 2024. When it comes to mini-PCs using generations old chipsets, this is pretty much as good as it gets. The B8A Pro touts itself as a gaming mini-PC but here's the reality. Call of Duty Warzone runs at the lowest settings, and struggles with 30fps at 1080p. The bottleneck is not so much with the internal Radeon 780M graphics but with the memory. The single 16GB DDR5 4400Mhz memory module is great for home office, streaming and browsing, but not for gaming. For gaming, 2 memory modules are recommended. 4400Mhz DDR5 is also on the slower end when there options up to 6400Mhz today. This gaming bottleneck applies to other BMAX offerings also as the 24GB or 8GB are also single memory modules. So in short, this is not a FPS capable mini-PC out of the box (unless you want to run it at super low resolution and frame rates). You would be better served purchasing a PS5 or Xbox instead. If you keep these expectations in mind, then the BMAX mini-PC then becomes an incredible system that delivers great value and is blazing fast for everything else. Lastly, one thing that is obvious but not mentioned often in reviews is that laptops are just not great at being a static home PC. Biggest issue with long term reliability is cooling and wearing out the USB-C connector. So if you are primarily using your PC at home, this is where the compact form, power saving, and most of all....value of a mini-PC shines.

I’ve been using the BMAX B2 Power mini PC for a few days as a streaming/cord-cutting replacement for my older box, and it has exceeded my expectations. The Intel Celeron 5205U processor is modest on paper, but for streaming, browsing, and everyday tasks it’s more than sufficient. The operating system comes pre-installed, so setup was incredibly simple—just connect it to the TV, plug it in, wait a couple of minutes, and it’s ready to use. Display quality has been excellent, and the inclusion of both HDMI and DisplayPort outputs is a nice bonus. The 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and the 256 GB NVMe SSD offer plenty of room and responsiveness for typical home-use workloads. I also appreciate that both RAM and storage are upgradeable, which gives the mini PC a longer useful life if I ever decide to expand. Thermals and noise control have been very good. I only heard the fan briefly while installing software, and even then it was quiet. During normal streaming, it stays cool and unobtrusive. The compact form factor and clean design make it easy to fit into a living-room setup. For the price, this little computer offers outstanding value: strong everyday performance, quiet operation, and genuinely useful connectivity options in a very small footprint.

It's very compacted and portable. Working right out of the box and performed good enough considering the price. It runs kind of quiet and didn't have too much heat. I'd wait for the summer and see if it gets hotter. So far I feel it's a generally fast mini PC that can do most of the basic works I need, even remotely.

such a high quality mini pc. it is very portable mini size. although it is mini but the function is all in the small body. Very smooth solution and very fast. if you in a budget this mini pc is the one. great price for great quality.

The truth is I don't recommend it, it starts well but after 5 minutes it overheats and gets super slow that you can't use it, I only put one star but the truth is I give it 0

I like it's compact design, durable build, sleek computer, and high performance components. With Speedy NVMe Storage, the application loading will faster, quicker boot times, allows me to get my tasks without waiting at all. I also like Dual 4K display support, and 8 GB of DDR4 RAM as well. This versatile features help me to connect two monitors at the same time to increase productivity, and perform multitasking smoothly without any issue or lags while using it. This device also has flexible Dual slot storage with B2 power that expanding storage for large projects, or backup files, too. I love the compact and convenient of this mini PC so much. The high-quality wireless technology and full suite of essential ports helps me easy to relocate, storage, travel, and setup. This desktop computer is space saving, and beneficial for dorm rooms, home office, business, gaming, Audio and video as well. This is a tiny figure, but capable unit and biggie power. I am definitely satisfied.

Simple setup and license key is fine it's windows 11 pro it's not lightning fast but it's not slow it's a great emulator pc it plays upto gamecube games but there kinda slow ps1 was fine ps2 some games worked others were slow also plays movies well and YouTube is fine it does everything I want it to do I would definitely recommend

Tenía otro mini pc con el que he estado muy satisfecho durante 3 años pero ya empezaba a quedarse perezoso. Este me parece que es un fórmula 1 comparado con el intel 3350 que llevaba el anterior. Lo uso como ordenador principal, aunque no lo uso para jugar. El wifi y bluetooth van muy muy bien y la velocidad de apertura de aplicaciones y navegación no tiene nada que envidiar a mi movil. Puedes ver videos en youtube sin notar sobrecalentamiento. Cuenta con ventilador, pero el ruido es totalmente soportable y hace que no se modifique el rendimiento durante el uso, aspecto que ha sido clave para que cambie mi anterior mini pc. Muy satisfecho en general con la compra. Esperemos que resista el paso del tiempo de forma razonable. Gracias por leer la reseña. Saludos

Review after the experience. The small BMAX B3 Plus is very fast. The Intel Celeron N5095 uses a 10nm process, has 4 cores, and has an L3 cache of 4MB. This processor is relatively good. The preinstalled Windows 11 runs smoothly, even running multiple parallel programs without significant limitations, such as running Microsoft Word and Google Chrome at the same time. Since the CPU can decode H.265/HEVC video, this mini PC is very suitable to be placed in the living room as a video player. I use this mini PC to play Netflix and Amazon Prime Video videos. Il mini pc oggetto mi è arrivata nel suo involucro originale comprensivo di alimentatore, staffa, vite e cavo HDMI Il prodotto si presenta molto bene sia di scocca in plastica resistente sia dal punto di vista hardware. Al suo interno troviamo un processore Intel celeron N5095 da 16 giga. Dopo l'installazione per caricare la macchina ho installato un'istanza virtuale con una distribuzione Linux e egregiamente il suo lavoro. Si consiglia di tenerlo leggermente sopraelevato dal piano di appoggio per consentire una ventilazione ottimale. In conclusione un ottimo prodotto con rapporto qualità prezzo ottima.

Super Mini PC, étant au solaire totale je voulais quelques chose qui ne consomme pas beaucoup d'énergie, le PC consomme 16W, je l'utilise pour mon serveur UNRAID qui tourne 24/24 365 jours/an. Il fait tourner 3 machines virtuelles 3 dockers et gère également mon système de stockage de fichier, j'utilise tous les ports USB, le port du HDD supplémentaire, les deux RJ 45 qui me permettent d'avoir un débit de 2GB si besoin (LIVEBOX 2GB), de plus la carte mère permet de partager les différents composants du PC directement avec les machines virtuelles, un gros plus car il est possible d'attribuer la carte à l'une d'entre elle de d'avoir la sortie vidéo en plus de la sortie QMENU. Je lui est ajouté 8GO de RAM me faisant ainsi 16GO, il est possible de monter jusqu'à 32GO. Le ventilateur reste très discret, la température du CPU ne dépasse pas 56°C même avec une température ambiante de 290C. Super produit.

16GB DDR4 512GB står det, men jag fick 8GB DDR4 256GB i min. men den gör sitt jobb.
