Light&Easier to lift than pyrex..
(Full Review)I've been enjoying home baking much more in recent times as I've not been able to get out to the shops myself for afew months. The only large mixing bowl I had was made out of Pyrex which at the time I bought it was fine. Now I struggle to lift the bowl to pour cake mixtures etc because of nerve damage, so I needed to find a lighter plastic bowl. After a little searching through Amazon I came across these. Good quality hard plastic large food safe mixing bowls at a much lower price compared with all others. Don't be fooled by the low price as these are every bit as good quality if not better than some of the more expensive overlypriced bowls. They are well designed and have benefits that others may not like a spout for pouring which is great and so useful. The measures are cleverly embossed in both metric & imperial measurements and also for both liquid or dry ingredients. On 2 opposite sides they are read from the outside and on the other 2 opposite sides (of the circular bowl) they are shown on the inside. So whichever angle you need to view it the measures are clear to see. Very clever. As they were so cheap I bought 2 bowls. They stack together perfectly so it doesn't take up any more storage space in my cupboard but also has a hanging hook (hole) on the rim opposite the spout if you prefer to hang them. The base is also quite stable. If you do lots of baking it's worth buying more while at a cheap price as won't take up extra space. It states microwave and freezer safe though to make use of this you would need a large microwave or a chest freezer as the bowl is too large to fit in standard versions. It has a diameter of 28cms (11")It is also "Top shelf" dishwasher safe. I prefer to wash by hand as any plastic or glass wears quicker in a dishwasher. For the cheap price you may not mind that. In which case it's ideal for a dishwasher. It can also withstand pouring boiling liquids in, for instance meat juices straight from the oven. But keep bowl well away from direct heat sources as they are only plastic and will melt!I'm really pleased with these bowls and I can once again make and pour my cake mixes and batters without the worry of dropping the bowl due to the weight. Much easier.Thankyou for reading my Full Review and if you've found it Helpful then please let me know.

Exactly what I needed!
I wanted some bowls to use for bottom-watering my houseplants & these are perfect for that. As I have two I’ve been able to use one for bottom-watering & the other for a variety of things like catching excess soil when repotting, drying out pebbles after washing them (to cover soil), mixing natural bug spray, & a whole bunch of other things. They’re sturdy, a great size & the spout(?) makes it easy to empty the bowls without making a mess.

First class product and service
I use one for my veg trimmings when batch cooking, as it saves repeated trips to the bin, or trying to use something less suitable for them. It makes such a difference when prepping lots of veg for soup, etc. All ready for the compost heap if you have one.I also use as many as required (usually 3) for my boiled long grain rice after sieving and storing overnight in the fridge, to be used as fried rice the next day. With the quality and the price, do yourself a favour and get some. Sturdy, stackable and a doddle to clean, they're simply brilliant. 11/10.

Would be great but for ridiculous base design
This is a good bowl - sturdy, measurements on the side, a pouring spout. But because of the design of the base, the bowl moves around whilst stirring (I use mine to make soap, so I'm holding the stick blender with one hand and the spoon with the other). If it had a flatter base - even better if it had a silicone non-slip ring - it would have been ideal. As it is, I prefer my 69p bowls from Wilko.
