Used this to sand my cabinets and crown molding trim. Great for smaller projects tho. I may need to purchase a large one with more power.

The dust collector didn’t connect to my machine so it wasn’t very helpful, but it was easy to use, it did scratch up my table service a bit but that very easily could have been user error. The Velcro is not super strong after only two projects, but for the price it was part good and really was good enough for me.

I am using this palm sander on a vehicle restoration project. It was absolutely NOT meant for this application but it is meeting my needs very well. the only complaint I can even muster up is that the sander is a little taller than I had hoped I would find when I began my search. That being said, I can't see where the height would be a problem on any in-home project I could be using it for. At the moment, this poor little sander is getting abused nearly daily in an effort to remove 9 layers of paint from the the window tracks, edges, and interior of a 1970 Karmann Ghia. It is just so much lighter and easier to handle on curved, hard to reach, and overhead areas than the air-powered DA sander that we have. Being female (and not saying that we women are in any way wimpy, mind you) the lighter weight and agility is really helping me stick to the project for longer stretches at a time each day.

Doesn't seem to be as strong as I was hoping, lags with any pressure. Perfect size, easy to operate. If you're looking for powerful I'd pass on this particular one.

I took a chance by ordering this Genesis Palm Sander that was listed as "used" to get an even lower price and took advantage of free shipping by adding it with other items I needed. When it arrived the carton was slightly damaged (probably after shipping), but the contents were in perfect shape. Still, I was a little skeptical so I tried it right away on an RC model airplane that needed refinishing after a few crashes. I thought the supplied 240 grit sandpaper would leave scratches in the thin plywood sheeting and would have to be finished with even finer sandpaper. Was I ever wrong! This Genesis sander stripped the old paint and left a smooth & scratch-less finish that needed no further sanding! Much better than I had expected.

exactly what I needed, works well so far. Don't know why there were some complaints on power output, it works like a palm sander should. Can't imagine how you could need more power or why? Anyway I am pleased with all except the instructions, never explained how to use the vacuum attachment....do you just plug the vacuum hose onto the hose at the back and turn the vacuum on? I guess I'll figure that out on my own. I bought sand discs from another seller for my Black and Decker Max sander attachment head which broke recently, and they fit this perfectly and were reasonably priced as well so it worked out great. Can't beat the price! Very pleased!

This is a great little sander that would be perfect for small projects and getting into tight spaces on larger projects. I ended up buying a random orbital sander also because I had a large project that was taking too long on the first couple of passes and the random orbital is better for the 40 or 60 grit. Then I use the palm sander for small spaces and sanding 80 and above. It will do 40 or 60 grit, but takes much much longer, which may be fine if you only have a small project. The random orbital sander I bought has a dust catcher which is so nice to have that I wish I had paid a little more for one with a dust catcher. It was awkward to use hooked up to a vacuum, and I broke the plastic attachment trying to make it work. Still, a great sander for the price!

Finally got to use this sander... Nice job, sands very well, not only corners.

Love this product . For the price It does what it says it can do . I would suggest a tougher sandpaper than what come with it
