Does this cover interfere with an automatic release tailgate?

Hi, this truck cover is compatible with your Ford Ranger that has an automatic release tailgate, but it might slightly affect the user experience.

Will this work with a bed liner?

No, it won't work if the bed liner extends over the bed rails. However, if the liner fits underneath the bed side rails, it should be fine. The cover has clamps that secure the frame to the bed sides in three or four places under the lip.

Can you close the tailgate without unlocking the cover?

If you close the cover first and then shut the tailgate, the seal will be pressed against the tailgate, allowing you to open and close the tailgate without needing to open the cover.

Will we need any extra installation tools?

You won’t need any extra tools to set this up. It’s designed for easy assembly without any special equipment, making the process convenient and hassle-free.

Should we measure from the inside of the truck bed?

Yes, measure from the inside of the bulkhead to the inside of the tailgate. This important measurement will help you get the right dimensions, preventing any wrong purchases and ultimately saving you time.
