Works perfect! A low cost high quality grinder.
I was both pleased and surprised of the quality hand burr grinder. It perfectly grinds coffee to precise and preferred levels for espresso or coarse for drip. I prefer #6 for espresso and Americano. The grind container is actually glass not plastic! Turning the grinder is easy as the handle is correctly sized. It takes a couple minutes to grind a double espresso, but well worth the effort.

A really good grinder.
Probably one of the better purchases I have made in quite some time. My electric one is good and takes no effort to use, but if there is a power outage you can't use it. This one is sleek and compact. You can take it with you just about anywhere. I have been using it for only a few weeks and the durability seems really good. Also, it grinds more precisely than my electric one because of the variety of settings. The handle comes off after the grind and can be a little cumbersome to store, but that's a small issue. It's little bit of work, so if you're used to convenience maybe have that in mind, but really if we can't spend a few extra minutes to grind some beans then that's just a good problem to have in life. Maybe if you have a hand or wrist injury you can stick with the electric, but the work really is minimal and it's cool little thing to add to the morning/afternoon ritual. Highly recommend.

Perfect for what I needed.
Love it! If you love fresh ground coffee it’s a must have! We use a Stainless steel k-Cup in our name brand coffee maker. This grinds the exact amount for a K-Cup refill. I think if you were grinding coffee for a full pot it would definitely not be worth the time and effort however for a single cup or a drip coffee maker it works really well! The grind size adjustment is on the main shaft of the grinder so I find it is easy to accidentally change the size of your grinds. Definitely have to be careful not to hold to high up while grinding coffee. It’s easy to use and hold. Looks nice and has held up well. The little coffee catch is glass so it doesn’t stain and is easy to clean. The kids love grinding my coffee for me. They find it fun as well. We took it camping and it was great for coffee around the fire too! Just don’t forget to put the little glass container on before you bring….. it makes a mess.

Compact, Quiet, and Great for an Office Coffee Upgrade
I bought this to use with my AeroPress at work, and for the price, it’s been a solid addition. The ceramic conical burr delivers a noticeably better cup than the pre‑ground coffee in the breakroom, and it grinds two scoops in about 15–20 seconds. It’s quiet, compact, and easy to stash with the rest of my setup. A few things to note: • The body can be slippery, and it occasionally twists in my hand when it catches a bean. A wide rubber band around the body of the grinder fixed that issue however. • Grind consistency is decent, not perfect. After three months I’ve found my sweet spot, but it’s not as uniform as my electric burr grinder at home — which is probably an unfair comparison. Expect small adjustments when switching beans as it can affect bitterness. • I wish it could be taken apart for deeper cleaning; the included brush only reaches the underside of the burrs. Maybe that’s overkill, but I’m used to doing it with my home setup. On the upside, it feels well‑built, works reliably, and the large handle knob is great for anyone with limited grip strength. Overall: A dependable, travel‑friendly grinder that delivers good results for the price. I’m happy with it and would recommend it for office or on‑the‑go brewing.

Satisfying and convenient.
I've been drinking powder coffee and drip coffee, and wanted a change. This thing is really satisfying to use (I love the crunch) and clean. It's really sturdy, I've dropped mine once or twice and it's still going. It's small, and easy to adjust, but I mostly just grind it medium. It's utilitarian, but still looks quite pretty. Looks just like the pictures.

Good for the price, but has its limits
You get what you pay for. Grind consistency is decent, but even the lowest grain setting won't get you close to a true espresso grind — it still produces a coarser result than expected. It's fine if you're using a pressurized portafilter, but not ideal for a bottomless one. Worth considering only if you don't mind spending 15 minutes a day grinding your morning coffee. After a few months, I got tired of the manual process and now just buy pre-ground espresso from a local coffee roastery

A minimalist and peaceful bean-grinding workout
If you’re into single‑cup pour‑over and secretly want to justify skipping arm day, this grinder is your new personal trainer. Sure, it only holds about 20g of beans, but trust me—once you start cranking, you’ll be grateful you’re not fueling a whole pot. This thing turns “making coffee” into light morning calisthenics. I’ve actually replaced part of my morning workout with bean‑grinding reps. With this, you can grind your way to caffeine and toned forearms at the same time? With 40 grind settings, anything below 20 becomes a full‑blown resistance exercise. But seriously, I do like this grinder and appreciate the simplicity and peace of manually grinding my own beans. It's a relaxing morning ritual at this point. Pro tip: once the beans settle into the burrs, changing the grind setting becomes a challenge, so dial it in before you start cranking unless you enjoy mid‑grind wrestling matches. The payoff? Beautifully consistent grounds and a peaceful, whisper‑quiet morning routine—no more electric‑grinder chaos. Just you, your grinder, and the satisfying knowledge that your coffee ritual now counts as strength training.

Great little grinder!
This well-made grinder feels great, works great, and seems like it'll last forever. It takes 50-60 turns to make enough grounded (set to 20) to stuff a reusable k-cup. No mess. All the grounds are captured in the screw-off glass cup which pour easily into my k-cup. Handle pops off for compact stowing. It is everything I could want.

Precision at Its Finest – A Must-Have Manual Grinder for Coffee Enthusiasts
As a coffee enthusiast who enjoys the ritual of grinding beans fresh each morning, I’ve tried several manual grinders over the years — including the Prolex — but this one truly stands out. The build quality is excellent, and the precision of the grind settings is remarkable. With 40 adjustable settings, it offers an impressive level of control over grind size, whether you're brewing espresso, pour-over, or French press. What sets this grinder apart is the consistency. Unlike my previous grinder, which relied on adjusting the burr screw and often resulted in uneven grinds, this model delivers a uniform grind every time. The adjustment mechanism is intuitive and allows for fine-tuning with ease, making it ideal for those who like to experiment with different brewing methods. The grinder is compact and portable, perfect for travel or small kitchens. The hand crank operates smoothly, and the ceramic burrs do a great job preserving the flavor of the beans. It’s surprisingly efficient — grinding a dose for espresso or a full cup takes minimal effort. If you’re serious about your coffee and want a reliable, high-precision manual grinder, this is an excellent choice. It exceeded my expectations and has quickly become an essential part of my morning routine.
