The best braces I have ever bought, strong clips that grip thick and thin waisbands, they are exceptionally good quality. Bought white Y shape.

Wow these are really string braces and have properly heavy duty clips which absolutely do not slip.I am so impressed i bought a second pairDefinately would recomend to anyone who has had problems with the clips on the braces you get from high street shops. I think these clips may last for ever.Apart from that they are a great fit, good quality and stylish

The elastic appears to be of good quality and is wide enough to be comfortable to wear. The stitching and joining piece is well made and fits flat against your back. They do the job reasonably well.My only negative comment would be the metalwork which feels cheap, has some sharp edges and the claws may shred more delicate fabrics. They don't work very well on smooth fabrics like waterproof trousers as the jaws don't grip. It would have been better if the grippers squeezed the fabric rather than use sharp teeth which may, over time, damage the trousers they are holding up. Only time will tell.

Great product at reasonable cost. Will buy again.

Really good quality and easy to adjust

Worn 4 days a week, 12 hours a shift, climbing, crawling and all manner of engineering madness for 2 years, still going strong.

Previously bought in 2015 and 2021. Robust. Only issue is the elastic does eventually stretch over time so have to replace them after 5 years.Bought two pairs in July and August 2026. They appear to be different in design.Difficult to adjust the length. The jaws cause the elasticated fabric to fray if not careful.Update after 2 months (Sep 2026):The spring clamps have become increasingly very difficult to open on the first new pair I bought in July compared to the unused pair bought in August. Upon closer comparison with earlier 2014-2021 Decalen braces, there are some differences too.Where I have ringed in red in one of the images, is metal wear from repeated opening/closing - there is a gentle curved edge. The earlier design appears to be a straight edge - I also checked another little used older pair and it appears to have a straight edge. I think there is too much compression with the new spring clamps?I've filed the curved edge to become straight edge. This may or may not resolve the issue. I'll report back in a few months.

Have now used these for a while and would comment.Really strong clips, feel very secure.Nice wide straps making for comfortable, but secure feel across the shoulders.Single clip at rear with Y join in the middle of the back makes for comfortable feel when seated.Have had no problems at all and happy to recommend these.Chose the red colour and have had to put up with many "rock on Tommy" quips, suspect this is just from a certain age group!

Clips are very strong. However, I did not notice that this recent pair only had 1 clip in the Back. The first ones i ordered had 2 clips on the back. With 2 if 1 comes off, there is still 1 left holding pants. I was tired, my ovetsight. Good Quality though.!!!

My husband is very pleased with these suspenders. The fabric is strong and the clasps are also very strong, so be careful. He finally found what will hold his trousers and feel comfortable on his shoulders and back. Highly recommended.
