As soon as i saw Kitt the world stopped for me, i used to love watching KnightriderI think my parents loved the fact i used to just shut up sit down ( i really was a nightmare child! ) and give them an hour break, once or twice every week. I was glued to the TV as soon as the music and KItt was on.I adored that showed and vowed oneday i would have a car like Kitt which talks.It never happened obviously ( although i do talk to my car !) To the boxset .....What an awesome DVD boxset containing the best 80's show ever. The new Knight rider has nothing on the Original, even the women in the original were very pleasing ( although i only remember kitt ! )Enough about how awesome Hoff and KITT were, we all know they are an all time great combo.If your doubting to buy this boxset dont, just purchase it, its worth every penny.The first time i watched a dvd from my boxset, i could not stop smiling like the little child i used too, what a great feeling. For that reason alone its worth every penny it costs, and the fact its under £50.00 is just an unbeleivable bargain.Now to the pro and cons of the boxsetPROS : --ALL the episodes in proper DVD cases.-Bonus features-The DVD ends creates a picture of kitt inside the box-The lid contains like a contents of every episode, so you know which episode you can watch if theres a particular one.-Decent qaulity video and sound ( remember this is nigh on 25 years old ! no HD here ! )Cons ( not really but for the sake of giving a review ) :-The boxset is big, (its 26 DVD cases what did you expect!)Like one reviewer said the PILOT episode is on DISC 7 and not DISC 1.It will remind you how great the old days were !!!This is a rare boxset that everyone will love to watch no matter what age or gender. i regularly watch this with my mum and cousin sisters.press TURBO BOOST and buy it NOW !!hope that helps make your mind up !

Being a big fan of the Knight Rider series, I've always loved the show all these years. Here is what I think of the box set.GOODS- The quality of the picture is very good. Nothing to complain about the Audio quality as well. Fantastic work on the digital transfer, considering the fact that the show is shot over 25 years ago.- Plenty of bonus features included; almost on each disc.- Each disc is safely stored in a regular DVD case.- Nice artwork, as you can see from the Amazon photo, the image of the car is spreaded over all the 26 DVD cases.NOT SO GOODS- The box set is BIG; the set only has 26 DVDs but takes almost twice the space as my X-Files box set which has 59 DVDs!- There is an error occured in the chronological order of the episodes. In the first season, the first three episodes come in the last discs of the season which disturbs the flow of the storyline.If you are a Knight Rider fan who doesn't have a space problem and willing to findout the correct order of the episodes from the box set, you don't have a single reason not to buy this product. At this price, this piece of classical 80s American TV is a steal! Go for it!!

Got my item. Well packed. No damage. Season one and two disks in one plastic box, season 3 and four in another. This is the European version, so won't play in any USA dvd players unless you have an international player. As mentioned elsewhere by other buyers, season one and two have subtitles. Season 3 and 4 Do Not have subtitles. No closed captions either. Strange. The USA versions of season 3 and 4 have subtitles. (The sets put out by Universal Pictures, not the Mills Creek version. Stay Away from Mills Creek as those sets have no subtitles or CC's). Also, this version dvd set the picture is in 4:3 aspect. Picture is very clean and clear. A lot better that my USA season one. (Which displays in 16.1 aspect. Strange). I will probably watch this version as the picture is a lot better looking. The pilot is include, but on disk seven, not on disk one as on the USA set.

This collection has very good picture and sound quality, but please note that subtitles are available on series one and two ONLY. The helpful info already provided elsewhere is correct - the feature-length pilot episode "Knight of the Phoenix" is also included - series 1, disc 7, episode 10 - there in all it's glory. The previous bulky boxset has thankfully been given the elbow, to be replaced by a snazzily compressed repackage consisting of the 26 discs stored in 13 slim cases, and tastefully housed in a 19.5 x 14 x 10cm sturdy box with lid, which looks pretty good wherever you decide to store it.Looking back, KNIGHT RIDER can be viewed as a sort of microcosm of 80s TV trends and fashions, gathering together the likes of sci-fi (a computerised, talking, hi-tech indestructible car)....action/adventure, crime-busting, cheesy humour, romance ("White Bird" - one for the ladies!)...Pounding electro soundtrack, and of course the big hairdo's!... And all warmly embraced by the assembled cast. Nuff said. So if you have a penchant for 80s TV, you really can't go too far wrong with this one. A warm glow of nostalgia guaranteed!
