I took these with all my babies and they are all very healthy kids. I also believe they helped me avoid the tooth damage and tooth loss that is common in pregnancy. I have horrible teeth due to childhood neglect yet I did not lose any teeth or need any fillings the year and years after I finished my multiple pregnancies. When I take these my normally brittle and short nails are able to grow the length of very long acrylics. So long and strong that strangers would often mention them! No hair loss either my hair is still down to my hips. If these pills prevented me from so much common damage on the outside of my body imagine how much they helped protect the inside! My labs were always great which is huge because I normally have plenty of deficiencies while not pregnant due to multiple food aversions.This is a very high quality brand I have tried many of their products over the years. They do their research and do not act in bad faith like most other supplement companies. They are very trustworthy! I hope they never change this formula because I think it is good for women to take in general. They even use the proper version of folic acid that many people need because they do not properly absorb the other kind.The pills do get black spots after opening but as another reviewer said the spots are just oxidation. This freaked me out for awhile before I knew this but I kept taking them anyway because of how great they are! You can buy foodsafe moisture absorption packets to prevent the oxidation that causes the black spots.Please never change this product Designs for Health. It is a perfect product!

I am 78 years old and when my dermatologist suggested I take prenatal vitamins, I thought she was crazy! However, I ordered then and have really noticed a difference in my energy level and dry skin! Give them a try and you might be surprised as I was!

Contacted the company directly about the black specks because it freaked me out and was relieved to know it's natural oxidation of B vitamins in the capsules. I've been taking them for almost a year and really like how easy they are to take and I've had no side effects. Definitely recommend and hope to ease some of those who were worried like me when they first saw those little specks!

I love the quality of these vitamins and the dosage of the supplement. However, even in non-humid weather they do mold after opening the bottle a few times or being left out a few days. SOLUTION: I had left over moisture traps from other pill jars (the small white packets) I had and threw them into a new bottle of these and I had zero mold compared to my first bottle. This company should provide those with these pills but they don’t. So, if you love the formulation like I do it’s an easy fix to keep these pills crisp and fresh.

I am a huge fan of all Designs For Health products. About 10 years ago, I walked into my doctor's office and told her I felt like I was in a coma. She put me on two types of thyroid, vitamin D, and Adrenatone and Adrenal Complex for DFH. Four days later, the fog lifted. It was so marked and so dramatic that it's hard to capture with words. It's been almost eight years and I still use them and I can absolutely tell when I don't have them.Fast forward a few years, and I am ready to get pregnant. I had been taking New Chapter Organics EveryWoman for years, but I was thinking about switching to Rainbow Light for the Prenatals. Lo and behold, they both contain folic acid, rather than folate. Do a search for folate vs folic acid and read the Chris Kessler article. I was shocked that such well-respected brands contain folic acid instead of folate, but thrilled that a brand I already love and trust had folate.I am also 36, and I want to do what I can for the healthiest baby possible. These prenatals were a no brainer.I don't feel markedly different or anything like that, since I was already taking good vitamins and the adreanal supplements, but I do have great peace of mind knowing that I am taking the healthy kind of folate.I also highly recommend Chris Kessler's Healthy Baby Code (program on his site) and Dave and Lana Asprey's Better Baby Book.

I was recommended these by a provider Who stands by the quality of this brand and used this for herself during both her pregnancies. As pricey, as these were, I went ahead and ordered them however I just received the item and upon inspecting the capsules there are visible black specks on them. I wanted a replacement however upon processing the return it asks for a photo which I add and then the return process ends there and takes me back to the start. When I contacted an associate their policy is, they have to email me a link where I need to upload the photo and wait one week before they decide if a replacement can be issued. This is such an inconvenient process and from what I see on here mold seems to be an issue with these. I’m beyond frustrated. I wanted to love these, but I am terrified to take them due to the fact that they have black spots on them. Do not buy these from here.
