Weak

Make sure what you are using is not directional dependent. The threads are too short for a locking nut, so you just have to torque it in as far as you can and hope things line up. They generally don't. If using on a pivot-able mount, it still isn't great as the thread come undone without being able to use a jam nut.

Disappointing. Almost no actual "goose neck" bending. The product picture shows about the minimum bend radius you can get out of these. I need more flexibility, and will be trying to source another replacement. Maybe it's the plastic overwrap that makes them black. You can get them to bend tighter if you use both hands and a lot of leverage (like pliers), at risk of marring the surface finish. That said, they do (mostly) hold the shape you put them in. I only have a small USB camera mounted atop mine.

Not real goosenecks like you'd expect, these are cheap and flimsy. The ribbing on the outside is just a rubber cover, not like genuine goosenecks that interlock. These kinds of "goosenecks" eventually snap.
