This stuff is exactly what it claims to be: essential. I’ve been using the Essential Values Humidor Solution for well over a year now in a heavily used humidor, and it’s still going strong. One bottle has lasted me way longer than I expected, which alone makes it a great value. Humidity stays stable, cigars stay fresh, and most importantly—zero issues with mold. None. The wood inside the humidor has stayed clean and healthy the entire time, which gives me a lot of peace of mind compared to using distilled water or cheaper alternatives. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do without any gimmicks. If you care about protecting your cigars and your humidor, this is a no-brainer. I won’t use anything else.

Works great to stabilize humidity in humidors

I've just started using this item, so I don't have too much to say at this point. The only thing that has been problematic is that the bottle arrived with a crease in the bottom as if it had been dropped, and there is a pinhole leak that I've had to tape and invert the bottle to prevent from making a mess. Hopefully changing containers won't cause the product to lose efficacy.

PROS * It will keep your humidor at a SOLID 70% humidity , no fuss, no guessing game * Does not smell * A little goes a long way. I expect this bottle to last me a good time since it's been holding up quite well in my humidor. CONS * It's pretty expensive for what it actually is. You are paying for the convenience of a pre-mixed blend but you can easily DIY this if you so choose. I just don't have the mental stamina to be stocking up different mixers and playing around to figure out the best ratio etc. This one is set and forget. * They will set it to 70% humidity . No more, no less. Some people like their cigars at 69, others 72, you have zero control here, which to me is the only downside of this. CONCLUSION It does what it claims to do, but you are paying the convenience premium. If you don't mind a steady 70% humidity, get this. If you want more control , get the extremely expensive Boveda packs that will cost about $30 for every 2 months or so depending where you live. It's a matter of preference really. I personally enjoy it since i don't mind 70% humidity, I can't tell much difference from my cigars, while I do prefer a bit more humidity since i enjoy a fuller smoke, i can't tell much of a difference. I this bottle will last me a long time but we'll see.

This product is great. It works really well. I hadn't used one of my older humidors for a while since it is very old. It wasn't holding humidity as well as others and I almost threw it away. I gave it one last chance and reseasoned it with this product. Magic! Lol. It recharged my old humidor. I feel like this product is much better than using distilled water alone. It works harder than distilled water. It took me about a week to season my larger, (100 count) humidors. My smaller, (30-40 count) humidors took about 48 hours. No chemical smell at all. Worth the investment.

I am very happy with this humidity liquid that I use for my first humidor. It's large enough so it will last a long while I think, even after conditioning a new humidor for 2 days and using the liquid multiple times there's plenty left. No smell at all, it just adds humidity. Will buy again for sure.
