I used a Drybar blow-dryer prior to this. I liked it, I've had it for years now, but my job is super physical and sometimes I can't quite hold it for long periods. As a curly girl, you can imagine how painful holding a heavy dryer can be even for ten minutes. I was looking around for something smaller and hopefully lighter, and this checked my boxes. It's SO much smaller than my huge Drybar. I like that the barrel is shorter on this too because I feel like that was part of the problem with my Drybar. It came with more accessories as well, and honestly getting the black version was an improvement too. My Drybar was yellow, not my first choice. On the highest setting, it's pretty loud, but I don't know there's much you can do about that. It's not even a bother because, again curly girl, I do the lower setting on higher heat. As far as the heat settings, I think it's pretty decent. Even the lower setting is still pretty warm. I think this is well priced and does it's job well. If you're also looking for something a little less strenuous to hold, this is your dryer. I highly recommend.

This hairdryer does a great job at blow, drying your hair and keeping it smooth in the process without using a brush. It’s not too loud and it’s not a bad size. The downside and why I returned it is there’s only two settings and that’s high and low speed of air. Unfortunately, you cannot select a temperature with the speed of air so with the higher speed you get hot air and with the lower speed, you get a lukewarm to cool air. I prefer to have warm air with a lower speed, especially when drying the front portion of my hair so for this reason, I did return it.

4 stars because it works well overall and I do like it. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and comes with useful attachments for different styles. The only downside is that it doesn’t get as hot as I expected, which sometimes leaves my hair a bit frizzy. That said, if you prefer lower heat or want to be gentler on your hair, this is still a great option.

This is a great blow dryer, it is most definitely lightweight and it drives a hair super fast. Usually, my hair takes about 10 minutes to dry but with this it dries in no time. It is kinda loud though, but that’s fine. The only thing negative about is when ordered. I never received it and I had to wait two days before reporting it but they did most definitely sent me another one.
