I really enjoyed these, I'd order again from this seller. It was a huge bag, great value for the dollar (even checked this with my mom, who buys lots of different kinds of nuts, especially hazelnuts. You can often get a bag with a fair amount of bitter/bad hazelnuts, I don't think I've had a bad one yet from this bag. I keep mine in the fridge, they last longer that way, and the resealable bag is good and sturdy. They are fresh and delicious!

So far, I've only received fresh and good tasting nuts from them, and I've ordered several types of nuts from this company. No issues so far.

**Update:** Please, do not leave a negative review simply because you are consuming the hazelnuts straight from the bag. The very low price means you need to prepare them for the best experience. Bake them in the oven for about an hour and then remove the skin from the hazelnuts after they cool down. I've ordered these for the third time, and I am still impressed by the quality.I almost didn't buy these because of the negative reviews, which I believe are undeserved. The quality is fantastic! I baked them for 50 minutes at 360 degrees Fahrenheit, and then rolled them in my hands until the skins came off. After this baking process, you end up with the tastiest hazelnuts ever. For a two-pound bag, the price is a steal! Once baked, they last much longer in storage, and I found no mold or bad nuts at all.To be honest, hazelnuts are hard to come by, and now that I've tasted them, I can't believe how good they are. If you blend them with sugar and oil in a mixer, you can create a delicious hazelnut paste. This paste can be used for ice cream or desserts. Give it a try; you will love it, and your family will be asking what delicious dessert you made!This quality product deserves a full five stars.

Would I buy again? No. In honesty I have only bought in shell previously but wanted to try nuts out of shell. This is a comparison not to other out or shell nuts but to those in shell. In shell is much sweeter and not dry.Now I don't know if all our or shell nuts are like these. These are by far the best price for money. But taste and quality wise I'll take the ones in the shell.

This bag of hazelnuts was a complete waste of money. More than HALF of the nuts were bitter, stale, or just plain awful. It’s like they scooped the bottom of the barrel and sealed it up. I’ve had hazelnuts from other brands before and never experienced this kind of inconsistency. These taste like they’ve either gone rancid or were harvested prematurely. If you're looking for that rich, nutty, slightly sweet hazelnut flavor—look elsewhere. This was more like a roulette game of "will this one taste like poison?"Save your money and your taste buds. Not worth it.

Hazelnuts are not really available in the supermarkets where I live. America hasn't really embraced this amazing but (YET)
