ROYAL-PAW Dog Tie Out Stake - for Large Dogs up to 210 lbs - Heavy Duty Dog Stake for Yard, Beach & Camping Outside - Best in Ground Anchor for a Dog Cable, Leash, Lead Tether (1, Midnight Black)

Was very excited for this. When I got the package though, there were spots where the paint had come off and it looked like it had been repaired very cheaply. The bag it came in already had holes in it too. Very disappointing when you have paid to dollar for this. I will try the stake and I hope it works well enough to keep.

This tie out stake is very very strong and durable. My 80 lb dog ran at full speed to go after a squirrel while on it and it held very well. My only tip with this is to make sure you actually buy a cable separately!! I didn’t pay attention when I bought it and didn’t realize it didn’t come with a cable. That is probably common sense to most people, but I just wanted to put that out there. We got all the way to our camping trip and went to put the stake in and tie up our dog when we realized we needed a cable. The stake itself is great though, I love that it comes with a brush to clean it off after use and a great carrying bag. It was easy to screw into the ground, but the ground was pretty soft, so I’m not sure how easy it would be with harder ground.

I own two very powerful dogs. One a female Cane Corso -130 pounds and one male American bulldog -80 pounds. These are big dogs. I needed a product that would do a big job. We are unable to fence our yard until the spring, but needed to secure our dogs in the yard for the meantime. Very strong, thick and durable. Dealing with Canadian winters, we were pleasantly surprised that it stood the test snow and freezing rain . Highly recommended great value for your money.
