Great, but maybe too powerful for some things
I purchased this to see if it would remove seal coating that got splattered on my new garage door. I tested a small spot. It removed the tar very well, but it also removed the paint and caused the surrounding area to turn yellowish. Great solvent for tar/seal coating, but be very careful as it could also remove the underlying paint.

Removed a sticky mess in seconds
It's such a pleasant surprise when a product lives up to the hype. Goof Off was simple to use and worked for me immediately.I had several knives that I've used to open packages over the years which left a sticky mess that nothing else would remove.A simple dab on a washcloth was all it took to remove 100% of the mess.I love, love this product. This stuff is the BOMB!!! It took off black streaks left on my LVP flooring from a. Compressor that was used in the house during renovations!

Don’t recommend this , buy spray can instead
You get goof off but save yourself in the long run by getting the spray can. Having all the liquid and applying it to a rag you use it up much much faster. Don’t waste your time with this style of the product unless you need it in liquid form. Don’t recommend liquid form of product at all get the spray can
