This is a good one. I tried another lumbar pillow that was much too big and stiff. This is the perfect size (just the right amount of height, sufficient width that you can turn in your sleep and still be on it). It totally stays in place on your mattress... I've tried other things that moved when I tossed and turned. I love the fact that the pillowcase is cooling. You can't beat the price. I think it would be easy to fit in a suitcase. But the most important thing is that I think it helps with my back. I was waking up with a stiff back and haven't been since I started using this pillow. Perfect level of firmness. It's not hard, but not too soft. Anyway, it was a bit odd to sleep on it (because it does feel like you have a pillow in the middle of your back), but I slept on it all night without discomfort and woke up with my back feeling great. Highly recommend.

Blue lumbar pillow is better for my size (it is not as long) than what I had been using. The pink one doesn't allow to place arms at the side when flat on the back because it elevates elbows also. New blue pillow is better. Both are superior for lumbar support, but am now using the blue and appreciating what it does to realign the spine. I hear "clicks and snaps" as the spine is happy to be supported in lumbar area after a hard day! Wishing it came in a more neutral color to go with any decor, but glad the zipper case is washable. Photos are hoping to help see the size and thickness in comparison. Blue wins for sure!

This is okay but it didn't suit my needs for my lower back. However it's flexible enough that you can fold it in half and put it between your knees if your side sleeper and it's got a cooling gel in it so that's a plus. I'm only giving it three stores cuz it didn't meet my needs but otherwise the product is good and should be explored.

I purchased this a year ago after starting a chiropractic program for lower back. For the first month it was like having something under your back. At first it was painfully tolerant. However as I progressed using it and going to chiro appointments my back started popping itself when I put this under my back. The pop did jolt and startle me at first then got use to it. Then my back stopped popping and started to hurt if I used it. Chiro program finished and no longer needed. Now I can lay flat, stretch and get a pop naturally. This pillow was valuable support and assisted with my program. I got my moneys worth and have it on standby if needed again. I have a neck, leg and now back support.

Ordered for a senior friend with scoliosis. She was very impressed on how comfortable it is when sleeping. She wants another one for her sitting chair. Very comfortable.

I have bought many back pillows before this, but the high density memory foam is just too rigid for my taste. If you are like me, you will LOVE this lumbar support pillow! It's supportive but so so cushiony! I feel like I just sink into the pillow. I had spinal surgery about 3 weeks ago and I needed something to support my lower back while it healed, but didn't put too much pressure on the surgical stitches. This was the perfect combination. I am a back/side sleeper, and it supports my lower back and sides when turning from side to side in the night.

I‘ve been using this pillow for a month now. It’s been comfortable every single night. The lower side works best for me. I’m a new CPAP user who is both a back and side sleeper. The contoured middle combined with the flat sides gives me the right heights for both sleeping positions. Very comfortable. With the firm-ish foam, you don’t sink in much. This is a good thing with the CPAP head gear. It felt too firm at first, but then I noticed that I was getting the right head/neck support and moving around less. Now when I hit the bed, it just feels right. I like it a lot! Recommended.

Good pillow. Comfortable for back sleeping, but not high enough for side sleeping. I like the pillow, but I do not love it. I do love the concept of it though which is the reason I bought it. I like that it has a lower profiile for pack sleeping and it really craddles your head gently while providing support at the same time. I would have prefered it the pillow was a bit wider (its not as wide as the measurments in the add) so when laying on my side, the edge of the pillow is at the middle of my cheecks which is not the most comfortable with my retainers.... Also, the support for side sleeping is not the greatest. It would be better if it was at least another inch higher on the sides and at least 8-10 inches wider. The softness is comfortable, but sadly not supportive. I wake up with middle back pain in the morning. Before I had severe neck pain with another pillow. So this one is not as bad, but not yet what I was hoping for. I gave it a 3 stars because its a good pillow and its comfortable for pack sleeping. Also, there was no bad smells at all which is great!
